So for light smith I use moment of glory with wings and divine toll on the reduced CD, for a double stack of big shield and damage, on top of the tir set bonus and 2second avenger shield interrupts, I find it's far more useful in M+ than eye of tyr or the double holy power talents.

hey yoda, i've been flamed for not tanking last boss 'correctly'. I like to stand still and just wait for melee to get out. I've heard people run towards the middle of room? What's the correct way of taking the tank buster there?

tank discords are known to criticise yoda's talent build, gear, rotations etc. But they often omit the battlefield conditions, pull routes and so many other nuances that this video clearly shows. It also is notable many of the tank discords theorycrafters either don't play m+ or have very low io rating (some not even ksh) and they criticise yoda every day.

You can do this group in any coordinated group. Without a DK you just need to assign two people to kick the mages. So you would never do a non DK group with a disc priest because you wouldn’t have any kicks for boss/ads.

Hey Yoda, thanks for posting all the vids and info. I was wondering if you could post a video on addons you use and at least how you set up your auras and macros? I find myself stuck at M8's and M9's and just can't seem to advance. Either too squishy, or screwing up my rotation. I believe said addons could help. I'd really appreciate it! 🙂

Ok so final answer: It's situational. They are both viable.

You can also disorient or stun an add right before it is consumed by the boss to avoid the aoe wipe. Once you realize you lacked damage for one or two adds, or one cced add is released you can immediately cc them again

Can use some shields and orbs . This boss was a murderer back then in SL on high keys, it made me laugh to see people scared of stichflesh xD. This one here deserves all the cds and rage :p

Why don't you move the boss to a corner, doesn't that help with add spawns or are you concerned about not having enough space for when the boss does the breath?

Just switch Resonance to reduced CD for divine toll, then you can use toll on every add spawn.

Well.. "It's very important to not overlap kicks". You can stop here. Its sad but we PUGgers dont play with voice com, so its GG. You should try to do random 14s+ with real PUG / non meta spec. You'll feel what we feel ! xD

I'm that dummy who is still playing a prot warrior, I just always make sure to invite a DK to this key and everything usually works out fine. I find that actually in pugs everything usually works out fine on the first set because everyone has defensives but the 2nd set is where we fall apart because people get all the kicks on the mages but forget about the boss and then the boss starts chunking people. I use a shield special ability on the 2nd wave + rally and that usually gets us through but its quite rough. If there is a 3rd, people usually have their defensives back up so we're fine. Don't think I've ever seen a 4th.

You can also use anima for this boss if you're lacking interrupts in your comp

"your evoker kicks the other one" in every scenario this man plays so much meta he assumes every comp has an evoker lol also PS: if you cc the mages with turn evil, if they get out of the area they reset the boss

This boss basically just Shows whats wrong with m+ right now. If you stun the mob it shouldnt recast the volley. Especially when you play with 2 ringe Kicks this boss becomes a gambling game.

Yoda, can u make a video to help tanks understand how tank keys for diferent DPS profiles? About chain pull, move or don't move adds, sit down on the priority target, etc. As a Rogue I'll appreciate that. Mostly tanks on pug think they just have to stay alive and do their damage :(

I have never done my own key since m+ became a thing all those years ago. Since I pug as tank/healer I can just pick and chose in lfg 😀

normally if you have auto-loot on, you can hold shift when looting to override that action into manual loot. does that not work on the end-of-dungeon chest?
