- We're back at Disney's Polyensian Village Resort at Walt Disney World for lunch reservations at Kona Cafe! We also get some cool views of the new pink, blue and gold paint job on Cinderella Castle from various vantage points at the Polynesian, stroll the beach and lobby and BouTIKI shop! It's a fun day of Disney dining and being BACK at a Walt Disney World Resort for the first time since the closures, an unexpected take on my lunch and some fun surprises! It was such a treat to be this close to Magic Kingdom, see Cinderella Castle and the Monorail going by, and soak in those Polynesian vibes! What do you think of the new castle colors? Much different than I expected! Thanks for watching!

I love your positivity. You are such a light. The last few meals pre COVID there were not good. It used to be a favorite place. The rolls and dessert looked amazing. Let’s be real I would take an ok meal there right now just to be on Disney Property. I can’t wait till your next adventure. I am loving the Disney Springs restaurant series. Stay safe!

A lot of videos are very, let's ride this ride then run across the park to ride this then let's hurry to this show and then we'll go here" Very frantic. Nothing wrong with that, I like seeing a much as possible but this was total chill. I'm very chill today so it was perfect. I could have watched an hour of you sitting on the beach, in fact I just came from spending over an hour at our local beach. This was right where I needed it to be today. Perfect. Every time you go eat I wonder how much is going home with you. Your eyes are always bigger than your stomach.

Wow, I watched this for the first time just now, I also visited The Poly after it first opened back in July, it was pretty surreal, but such a relief... and I am so glad I got to see the front portion one last time before I got torn out! Ahhh the Poly! We went the other day for lunch at Cap’n Cooks and it was amazing! Definitely our favorite resort on Disney Property. My favorite view is as you are walking between the pool and the Hawaii building and can see the castle in the distance as you approach the beach. Can’t wait to book a staycation soon. Great vlog, Jackie!! 🤩

I've been so sad about having to cancel my solo trip in September due to the reverse travel ban, but watching this made me feel home again and I thank you Jackie! On a side note about the spices, I am the exact same way and can't even deal with pepper so I appreciate hearing someone else have similar issues. I'm also allergic to mustard, which they think is strange, but are always willing to accommodate of course.

I remember when I worked the Santa's enchanted forest there in Miami for co. Out of Chicago I couldn't get over how it would rain for 5 minutes and then be gone very different than the south and midwest Calif kind of the same those oceans ya know
It makes me so happy to know some resorts are open again. It hurt my heart to think of them all shuttered up and closed. The Poly is beautiful. Would love to stay there someday.

I'm actually glad you posted the Poke Bowl. We're staying at the Poly later this month, and I actually googled that poke bowl yesterday, trying to figure what I'd order. LOL. I remember loving the little desserts at kona from my last trip. I think I had a small cup that was vanilla flavored tapioca pudding with some bobas and fruit on top. :-)
oh how much I love the Poly. I wonder if they are doing the night time movies for the guest?
