My friend is a pastry chef at the Poly and he was one of a few Poly castmembers not furloughed or laid off in 2020. His posts and messages throughout the pandemic were so sad. He is so thrilled now that many of his “ohana” are back! So perfect that you and Nate got to be part of the first night back! Sweet family inviting you guys to their table, too!

Can't wait to go Ohana. Thank you for the excellent review. We've been going to Capt Cook's for Tonga Toast (a favorite of Elvis's.) We like to park at the TC and walk over there - it is like living in Hawaii again.
Such an inviting, Hawaiian environment at Ohana! From the music, decor, views of the resort and of course the delicious looking food! It was so nice of that beautiful family to invite you guys to join them for dinner! (Fun Fact): Elvis Presley loved the Hawaiian Islands and it was one of his favorite vacation spots. Also, he filmed three movies there and held benefit concerts as well. If anyone visits the Islands there are Elvis references throughout some locations he frequented!

I love Ohana‘s restaurant. Every time I come to Disney I always have a reservation for either breakfast or dinner. I’m glad you enjoyed your food. The noodles are one of my favorite things…. 😊😊😊
I’m super enthused you got to eat at Ohana dinner! My wife and I went there a lot before having kids. I love the wings, noodles, pot stickers, chicken, steak, and bread pudding. 😋❤️

Remember when the hotel had parrots in the entry way? I always feel the hotel is so busy and noisy but I always go to Ohana's at least once during our visit. Thanks for sharing. FYI I always watch your Video before Nate's.

I don’t know Jackie. I watched Nate’s video too and I think he was holding back a little. The way he put away that bbq platter at city works I thought he would of put more of a dent in those platters at O’hana.
What a great looking meal! It makes me want to say “Mahali-kili hana wanagili!” Don’t bother with the translator. That doesn’t actually mean anything, but I was feeling left out so I wanted to say something that sounded like I was from the islands. Actually, Jackie always has a way of making her viewers feel included-almost like we are there with her. Such a nice video!
I am not sure how I feel about the menu changes. I understand family style but the menu was perfect as it was. I will still visit to at least try but I really want to understand their reasoning behind shrimp casserole🙁
We were looking to find a place to eat at the Poly the other day and got into Ohana with NO wait on a standby table! I’ll keep the specifics regarding day of the week and time to myself-lol. We ate so well, I should’ve done a review but I’m not interested in being on camera. The worst items on the dinner menu was the bread-dry and just meh. Next was the chicken-an overly smoky and salty chicken thigh. The steak at first was overdone, then the second round was more tender-still if the steak is good you don’t need to drown it in teriyaki sauce. The wings were good, flavorful but messy. The peel and eat shrimp were good as well-a tad bit hot and messy. Good thing they brought us hot moist towels to clean up with. Our favorite items were the salad-a delicious and sweet citrusy vinaigrette, slightly crunchy pot stickers and the famous Ohana noodles-couldn’t get enough of both-those two items were our favorites! The pineapple bread pudding was so good, especially with that caramel sauce-oh my! We topped it of with a delicious cup of fresh, hot coffee. Service was exceptional and we tipped them well. Dinner for two was right about $145 with the tip.
5:40: Was it just me or did anyone else keep their eyes on the chicken wing Jackie was waving around? :) I felt like a dog staring at a treat. Great video Jackie!!
I drive in from Texas every other year, and it is tradition for us to dine at Ohana. I am disappointed in the changes, but I am glad you mentioned that I can ask for the meat medium rare and sauce on the side. My son wants me to reserve Ohana again for our December trip since his girlfriend has never eaten there, but I am not really looking forward to it this time. Maybe I can drown my disappoint with a Lapu Lapu!

We are long time Ohana fans. Every trip for us, even if we weren't doing Disney we would go to Ohana when we were in Orlando. I am sorry to say, that after seeing these offerings, it's unlikely that we will be back. Not sure why they made this change, personnel shortages or what ever, we hope it's fixed and they will go back to the reasons that made Ohana so popular and such a hard to get ADR in the first place. Hopefully, this is just temporary and not the Disney greed we have been seeing the past few years.

I love the theming in their restaurant. I have never been to Hawaii but,it strikes me that there is that kind of feeling.

We will be celebrating our 12th anniversary at Ohana. Will be both our first time eating here; absolutely looking forward to it!
