Yes it can as long as the trigger signal that goes over HDMI isn’t blocked. I believe things like external monitors usually strip that signal out of their HDMI IN or OUT ports. If it’s plugged in directly into the ATEM Mini Pro / Pro ISO and you get other signals like Tally then it should trigger the internal recording too! 👍
Is there new cameras that come out every few years ? What's the best one to get if I'm an actor that wants to do his own low-budget films ? I never learned much about cameras but I'm going ro have to learn. What's the best place to get it ? And best price and what do you recommend?
There's companies that'll put out cameras faster than that haha. It all really comes down to what you wanna invest in. Something you'll control yourself, or something you'll have a friend help with? FX30 is pretty hot these days, especially if you're looking to get into the Sony ecosystem later down the line. if you got an E - PL mount adapter, then you can look into renting or purchasing a cheaper set of cinema lenses you can get it looking very high quality. or you could try stick with cheaper Sony glass with AF. Look into the second hand market too, like the GH5 is a little older now but it's features were very good, although AF was a weak point. If you don't need the slowmotion, then look into the cheaper Sony line. Since you've commented on this video you're possibly looking into Blackmagic cameras? You can probably pick up a full set with lenses second hand for a good price. But then you'll be setting your own focus etc. If you're shooting yourself that may be difficult.

Does anyone have a good solution for remote control (including start/stop recording) for the Micro G2 camera? I'm looking for a small physical button that I can use with the Micro G2 as an ISO camera. We often place multiple Micro G2 cameras on top of light stands and other hard-to-reach places. While we can control via ATEM ISo, white balance, etc, we cannot control the start/stop recording function.
Did you watch the review from Middle Things? ruclips.net/video/vdrzfuV61pU/видео.htmlsi=mgezUpIpEG4-XS1O they make their own controllers and devices for this kind of thing, not sure if they have done for this exact camera though. Worth maybe looking and checking out their website :)

how do you trigger record On/OFF on multiple cameras (at the same time) with the bluetooth+ app?
When you start the app you have the choice between Single Cam, and Multi-Cam. It’s the tabs at the top of the screen below the logo
