I feel like this song represents the biggest difference between fnaf before, and now. Fnaf in the beginning felt like it had this focus on mainly victims of William and their path to finally moving on. Overtime however it became less of that, it became more about being sci-fi and fantastical. And while I do like how in later entries it focused more on the Afton Family, I just feel like the series really devolved from what made it popular.
I totally agree with you and tbh looking back this series should have ended at 3 . I get why 4 was made and it does tie some loose ends together but its more like prequel tbh . Sister location is where the series shifted and the books only reinforced it / tried to explain the thousands of new loose ends it only created . Ill alway enjoy fnaf , but im no longer interested in lore especially after security breach .
@@pixelatedpyrotechnic If FNAF ended at 3, we wouldn't have Sister Location and VR (probably the best games out of the series), much less FNAF 6's ending (By far the best individual thing to come out of the franchise) Also, FNAF does technically still end in FNAF 3. The Happiest Day remains as the last canonical event in the timeline
I think introducing remnant was the turning point of the series into that sci-fi, sister location was bordering hard between the originals and the new version of the franchise, and the books pushed it over that edge
