  • Just a few kilometers north of Lund BC (at the top end of Hwy 101, which extends from Lund down the west coast of the Americas to Terra del Fuego!), the Copeland Islands are bursting with beautiful scenery and wildlife habitat. Designated as a Marine Provincial Park situated at the north-east corner of Georgia Strait (aka the Salish Sea), and separated from the mainland by a 250 meter (800 foot) channel, Copeland Islands provide many safe anchorages for boaters travelling up to Desolation Sound and back. This video captures all of the islands and a few of their cozy anchorages, as well as an extended view of northern Georgia Strait from the mainland over to Vancouver Island, all in beautiful natural (untouched) colour.
