Just discovered your channel through the RUclips recommendations c: You seem like a very strong tacticle player, have you ever considered playing the Smith-Morra Gambit against the Sicilian? I never understood while titled players are not playing it, as there is no refutation to it ^^
I love the Smith Morra in theory but whenever I play it I end up down a pawn wondering why I played it 😂. I tried it one against a GM in classical and never had any chances at all that game.
At top level giving up a pawn with a real gambit is super dangerous. Not including the queens gambit because it's not a real gambit, all gambits are generally dangerous above 2000. If you give them a +1 advantage out of the opening you are going to have a hard time trying to recover material against someone that will likely just play positionally from that point forward and not allow tactics. That's not to say it would never work but it's not worth the risk unless there is a surefire way to get your pawn back like in the queens gambit or catalan.

Love the commentary! Only advice I have is to somehow invest in a stronger PC for making videos :) The lag of moving the pieces and the video in general made it a bit distracting to follow the variations you were showing.
