It means a lot to me, and Im guessing, that Im not alone in that scenario! I personally follow a lot of others on RUclips, but only Lauren, bothers to reply! Thank you so much for taking us with you Lauren. The scenery was overwhelmingly beautiful. Pelican Bay was storybook like. All the "working" boats and the wooden walkways. It also was so clean compared to marinas we see in so many places. I can't wait for the trip to Turkey. Stay safe. I hope your holiday was wonderful and that you got to spend it with people you love. ❤

Around here (southern BC) we call those kelp cods "kelp greenling". There are a bunch of different kinds of greenling, and they're all exceptionally beautiful fish. Back when I spear fished, I really enjoyed going for greenling. They taste great, and they're fairly plentiful and easy to shoot. These days I just hang out and watch them. Some have absolutely stunning colouration.

Me and my Dad was approached by some people with a puppy at a gas station and I think they tried to get our credit card info. I've personally had a phone call awhile back from my bank asking my location and I asked why and they informed me numerous attempts we're made on my account. Before I answered I asked where the attempt's were coming from and it was where I was.
So you must be careful these days!

Nice to see the area looking just as stellar as it did back then. I took a cruise up to Alaska and one of my stops was in Juneau. I actually got a bit luckier than you in that I did see two brown bears come out of the brush over a small foot bridge and also I saw one of the most beautiful bald eagles just sitting on a tree branch in the Mendenhall Glacier park area. You obviously had a great time around Juneau. A buddy of mine fishes there July 4th weekend and does OK, but I'm only passing thru the airport. Still, looks like a great diving area and you've inspired me to dive ONLY in warm water areas. 😄 😆 The captain of the boat I charter in Sitka does SCUBA dive there in fall to winter.for sea cucumbers, and its worth $ the effort. Hopefully you will go back someday. I you do, try Sitka in late July to early August. You will likely limit on Coho's, a King is a bonus and Halibut and Cod are usually in good form as are the Salmon berries. Thanks again !

It is heartbreaking to watch those big halibut cleaning knowing you traveled so many miles and didn’t get one. Almost happened to me in Baja, I missed so many wahoos, I was using their speargun and it took a while to get used to it (they use RIFFE, big gun with float line and slip tip), but I finally got one on my last day lol They would not allow you to use RA in blue water, although I think it is a great speargun if used correctly. I saw you shot your first wahoo with slip tip and belt reel with RA, good job!

Thank you! I can't believe they wouldn't allow you to use an Rob Allen. I shot all of my wahoos, 110lb+ AJs, 180lb Marlin and 200lb+ bluefin tuna all with RAs. They're great guns. RIFFE makes great guns too but I just love pipe guns because they're so light and easy to maneuver.

@@LaurenSarasuayeah, I agree, very easy to dive with. I use primary Amero, but RA is great too. It might be sponsorship issues, it takes a while to get used to a new gun in blue water, especially when shooting fish from a distance. While chasing a wahoo, I recalled Judah’s series “Wahoo fever” from his youtube channel lol I like his vids too

14:54 I seriously wonder what the tsunami history is for the Lisianski Inlet , the waterway is so narrow and so close to open ocean , the population is somewhere between 75 and 150 apparently depending on the day , I wonder how high the escape road goes , better have a ride and a go-kit ready
