Yes Melissa keep growing her vocal repertoire and she is using new techniques on this album and it's great to see her grow. Her growls is something to behold as well.

Wow, she didn't growl? She usually switches between clean and harsh vocals. But I really like her cleans, so cool 👍🤘
Nice reaction, Eric. I discovered Ad Infinitum from hearing Melissa Bonny as a guest vocalist on two Warking songs, where she featured as The Queen Of The Damned, and from appearing with Feuerschwanz. If Chapter III Downfall is anything like Chapter I Monarchy and Chapter II Legacy, then we're in for a treat. I have had it on pre-order since December! Have you checked out her side project called The Dark Side Of The Moon? Stay safe 🤘 ✌️

I like her harsh vocals as well. Her other band, The Dark Side of the Moon, released a song a couple weeks ago, called The Gates of Time
The song she joined Feuerschwantz for is Warriors of the World United (Manowar cover). That song also features Saltatio Mortis and Thomas Winkler.
She also joined Feuerschwanz for their cover of “Ding”
Hi ! Very happy you checked out Ad Infinitum, there’s a lot more to discover ! Just some thoughts & infos : Melissa is so good at riding the rythm and the flow…. And yes, they pay a lot of attention to adding the little musical or lyrical details that complete their music so nicely. About what you said about bass/guitar leading the rhythm : Adrian uses an 8 string guitar so it contributes to what you noticed. He can go very low ! And when they go djenty like in this song, guitar + bass + drum create a massive low end and rythm section
I’d be very glad if you go down the rabbit hole and check out more of their songs, they are very versatile so it’s worth it. People already mentioned Melissa’s growls, but there’s a lot more 🤘🏼🐨🤘🏼
I absolutely loved Ad Infinitum's 1st album. To me it sounded like Kamelot, but with a female singer. Their 2nd album didnt grab my interest like the first album. The 2nd album added in a bit more proggy rythyms and experimentation which I thought didnt always work within the song structure. Still, it was a good album for sure, and that it just wasnt a carbon copy of album number 1.
This is a very good, if 'safe', single for album 3 :)
As soon as I saw the Napalm Records logo I knew it would be great. I haven't heard a bad band from Napalm Records yet. They made a third Anaconda movie, WHY?

I'm still on the fence about Ad Infinitum. Melissa is one of the best voices of her generation and all the musicians are uber talented. That being said they need to find a different song writer in my opinion. Very few AI songs really grab my attention, I prefer The Drak Side Of The Moon & Rage OF Light to listen to Melissa.
