In this webinar, Director of Clinical Education for Precision Analytical, Dr. Debbie Rice, walked through the nuances of assessing cortisol health and the HPA-Axis. Where does Cortisol come from? How does it affect inflammation and autoimmunity? How can patients change their lifestyles to improve their stress response? All of those questions and more are answered in this informative webinar from January 2022.
Finally someone who can explain stress on a physiological level and not only as a psyche thing!
Thank u very much!
Thank you for this, my health tanked in 2022 after an extremely stressful event and I was keto for 3 months which made it even worse. Now I can understand why
Hi, Can you please provide a link / reference to the cholesterol - hormone production chart by Tom G? 2019 (the details on the slide were not legible). THank you!

Thanks for the physiology explained behind the stress response. However, the name of this lecture is misleading. Very little info is shared regarding actually resetting the HPA axis. Dr. Rice keeps saying everyone is different and rushes through any available options with no details. Treatment options should be the main point of this lecture. Instead, it's clear that this video is business-driven - everyone should come to her sponsor lab to get tested in order to get some answers. 👎
You have to get tested to know where the fires are to put out. For instance, I had no idea my body was inflamed due to a virus. I could have tried every inflammatory/elimination diet but it would have never solved the root cause. Edit: Actually, I did try many diets, yet it led to Vit D deficiency, which weakened my immune system and let the virus come out of dormancy to play.
Thank you for this! Such a great breakdown
So how long to get it back to balanced, did I miss that?
excellent summary very clearly explained .thanks a lot
My HPA Axis loves this 🤗😂
Why doesn't this get examined and dealt with much? What does one have to be like to get that? Do they only help a few patients? How do I show I am worth helping?
Excellent presentation.

For trauma, look into Bottom Up Therapy and/or TRE Trauma Release Exercises. You have my sympathy and love!
