Just an aside Joe. Can you please do a piece on the difference between coppens and skrettings in terms of both feeder and hook size pellets. Which are best for what, how long to soak etc There’s not one definitive view out there and plenty of contradictions. I’m asking you because you’re the best and clearest at articulating this stuff. Apologies if already done this but can’t find anything.

Joe i have the same pole as you. Would a carp top kit with a preston hybrid 11 green elastic do as a bream top kit in the winter? saves me buying more kits than i need ta
Yea of course. You may need to drop a grade of elastic though
Ngl…those lakes look extremely dull. Zero features whatsoever. I suppose it’s good for a match though, evens things out
Not for everyone of course. But the match can be won wherever you sit if you do it right which makes it an excellent match venue
