Joe knows his paste. Very well explained. Good to have Mick asking the questions the viewer wants to know the answers to. Work well as a double act. Keep up the great content . Tight lines Pete 🎣
At last a consultant who actually knows what’s he’s talking about when paste fishing most just go through the motions especially some of the big names well done joe 👏👏
Another great video from the Nufish team it's great when you and Joe are together doesn't matter which one of you are fishing the other one always ask the question we the enthusiastic anglers want answers too so thank Mick and Joe for the time and effort you put in on our behalf.
Also, if you are fishing margin with corn or maggs, worm and get too many fish in the peg with lots of fowl hookers, the paste is the go to method to catch off the bottom. Put 6mm or 8mm pellets to take the fish to the bottom. Love the vid
I like paste fishing, but have struggled with the consistency of the paste. I feel I understand what I need a bit better now and can't wait to give my new knowledge a try. Thank you for the video. Barry from Essex.
Great as always love the fact you could have any box you want and you still choose to rock the inception box because it’s practical for you keep being you Joe
Superb follow up to Joe’s paste secret video - never tried paste before, did it today on a club water and it was utter mayhem but sooo much fun. Thanks guys .
Watched his cheese paste mix vid a couple of years ago.... Brilliant for casting.... and with a couple of additives you can get it softer for Winter fishing to make it a bit softer in cold waters.Use his mix and experiment after! Confidence is all you need. You will catch. It is genuinely a fantastic Cheese paste mix bait. Summer and Winter.
Excellent piece there, made all the more interesting because Mick is there grilling Joe with his his almost scientific type mind. Mick really gets to the nub of subjects, and he confesses that this isn't a method he has down himself. Joe has, and Mr Vials asks the questions we all want to ask. Paste fishing has done my head in a lot of times, and I suspect I am not alone? I think this video will help a load of anglers cut down on the paste frustration. 10/10 for me.
Absolutely fantastic video guys, I appreciate there’s loads more to learn but will be giving it a proper go myself! With me it’s like showing a horse water and dying of thirst lol!
Fantastic video Joe something I don't do alot of but it certainly can pay off on the day I have tried a few times but never really got to grips with it mainly using the Rig the right way having the pot halfway down my top kit with Shot but will definitely try again with your method You always cover your videos very clear & Nufiish have a great angler on there hands well done 👏👏🎣🎣
Went out and tried paste paste fishing yesterday plenty of bites from teasing bobbers to shit my pants guzzunders. Excellent vidéo good team work Nufish.
Margin paste is different, fish as normal margin anchor it down with 3 or 4inch hook length, pull a stott up to balance the rig as its in the pot. So putting in does not tangle. Then bag up.
Hi Joe ever thought of using lead core tubing on the stem of the float instead of shot. A bit of a faff to start with but once you sort the length of tubing it works fine.
Cracking content chaps, great to see the paste lighting up other anglers lives! Just a quick question, are you only fishing shallow with the paste, as I don’t understand how to plum up with paste?!? Thanks
So are you doing these floats soon? definitely makes sense to have a thin brisel as the Preston ones keep pulling out the paste at slightest movement,I've tried shotting down to bottom of body and having no shot usung just paste to shot it down.
Hi hello Joe thank you ? Can you buy wheat gluten from the fishing tattoo shop were to buy it thank you 🤩ok lol very sorry the voice text got it wrong it should say fishing tackle shop lol 😜
@@NuFish also Joe I’d like to say well done very good all your videos are free you knew you do not charge any money at all. Well done good job sewing seed your reaper harvest.

Great video. Very informative

Well I do genuinely fish it weekly through the summer and have learnt plenty over the years 🤟🏻
I love the way Mick carries out his interviews both of the paste fishing videos are first class keep them coming JC.
Glad you like them!

@@NuFish Great result today Joe, hope my fishing goes that well tomorrow.
What a great team you have at Nufish, this is a lovely guide to Paste ! Mick must be a great boss to work with .
He's great :)

Great video, probably one of the best for club match anglers wanting to improve and achieve match winning paste techniques.
Glad you enjoyed it

What a method you are the man. Can't wait to try this method the next time I go fishing. From Justin in West Midlands, England 🏴.

Great watch guys will be trying Joes way this weekend .
Have fun!

The best description of a paste bite

Great, really enjoyed this, should have let Mick catch one as a reward for great question time.😂
He caught loads after 😂
Really well explained ! Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Joe hi, my son just bought 6 paste floats from Nufish so fingers crossed 🤞 they perform as good as your videos
They look and feel absolutely brilliant
Good luck!
Great video Mick and Joe 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
I really enjoyed this one.. did i miss the ratio of wheat gluten to the thatchers?? How much as a guide??
Hi Joe ever thought of using lead core tubing on the stem of the float instead of shot. A bit of a faff to start with but once you sort the length of tubing it works fine.
Yes I've tried it and it works great. Im just too tight to buy it :)
I would love to see an underwater camera with paste. Don’t think anyone has ever done this.
I think it would be a struggle as the paste would colour the water too much
Cracking content chaps, great to see the paste lighting up other anglers lives! Just a quick question, are you only fishing shallow with the paste, as I don’t understand how to plum up with paste?!? Thanks
I just fish an inch or two over depth with it 👍🏻
Brilliant video Joe..
What lake at shearsby are you on bud as I have a match on Sunday on willow any tips lol
Hurricane :)
Use of hemp ir softened micros yes, but The Fin uses hard 4mm. With same results.
Micros most of the time for Fin 👍🏻
Video last year he was using 4mm. Changeable though I suppose. I'll try micros next time.
If fishery rules are you must use a hook length, what length would you recommend.brilliant info great video.
Just a normal six inch hooklength would be fine
Thank you Joe.
Great video and 2 top blokes talking sense Tight Lines Steve Amison
:)
What makes a good paste float will a thick tipped dibber suffice, i find something with a thinner tip can get hard to read the bites.
The longer tips make reading the bites far easier than a dibber
Great video Joe and Mick, some fisheries ban hemp so what alternative Joe 😊
Micros
Terrific Joe well done guys, did I miss it what size type hook Joe. Cheers
It's a size 10 guru pellet waggler
So are you doing these floats soon? definitely makes sense to have a thin brisel as the Preston ones keep pulling out the paste at slightest movement,I've tried shotting down to bottom of body and having no shot usung just paste to shot it down.
They are in shops now 👍🏻
Brilliant ❤
A question for you Joe?on my match venue, you have to have a hook length.how long would you suggest,I'm using 12in. For paste fishing.
Every day is a school day, thanks Joe,Mick and the NuFish team, great job...👍🎣
Thanks for watching
Great video - been out and caught loads thanks to this.
PS are you sponsored by Tuppaware? 😊
I wish!
Great video, I will definitely try out thatchers as paste! What is the water ratio?
On his other Video it was 1-1
@@robertedmunds2394 Thanks!
1-1 is a great starting point for a nice smooth result. But I often wet it further but as a guide 1-1 is a great start
@@NuFish Thank you Joe! :D
Will this work on the waggler or will I need more wheat gluten
Definitely but you may want a stiffer paste with more gluten in 🤟🏻
Brilliant
At venues where over-shotting is not allowed can you over-bait?
I'm not sure what you mean?
@@NuFishShallow fish a lump of paste that makes your float submerge. Similar to over-shotting.
Hi Joe, where did you get your wheat gluten from please
Amazon 👍🏻
@@NuFish Cheers will have a look Joe
How long can you keep paste in the fridge/freezer.
Several days in the fridge but I haven’t tried freezing it
What’s your preferred hook pattern Joe?
I use a guru pellet Waggler but also use a b911 x-strong. You just want a big strong pattern 👍🏻
Fantastic
Thanks
Do you need a bit of silicone on the bristle.
I don’t like to but it’s up to you
When you show the jc margin float..it looks like you have a piece of silicone above the body
Hi , That is what fixes the body to the stem/bristle , the line goes through the body on the JC paste range
Yeah,bought a couple..and realise that,now.
Cheers for the reply
how do i stop my rig tangling went dropping paste in with these rigs
The key is to lay the rig up wind before you drop the paste in. Make sure the line is laid out in a loop on the surface then drop the bait in
What size are the shots below the float on the 0.3 please?
Two no8 stotz 👍🏻
What's the best size hook and type
Fishery rules dictate but I prefer a size 10 if allowed and usually it is a Guru Pellet waggler
Make sure you listen to joe, you can learn loads
Does that make sense ?
Hi hello Joe thank you ? Can you buy wheat gluten from the fishing tattoo shop were to buy it thank you 🤩ok lol very sorry the voice text got it wrong it should say fishing tackle shop lol 😜
Not sure about the tattoo shop ;) but you can get it on amazon
@@NuFish so do you get your gluten from Amazon, thank you, Joe
@@NuFish also Joe I’d like to say well done very good all your videos are free you knew you do not charge any money at all. Well done good job sewing seed your reaper harvest.
You name the groundbait but fail to name the makers of the gluten you use. Please can you name the wheat gluten.
There are loads, a simple google search will reveal all you need to know.
total advert
Nothing of any use in there then?
What’s your preferred hook pattern Joe?
I use a guru pellet Waggler, but happily use a 10 b911 x-strong too
