To put it in neutral, there’s a bolt underneath the car. You have to undo 40 spins. We have had a couple of these break down at work already. Happy to call and talk it through with you. Any of help, just message. I work at Fiat so happy to help.
Thanks for all the great content over the last year. You are absolutely my favourite channel by a country mile, So have a great Christmas guys and a drink on me
On the drivers side ,under neath so you can see transmission module, there will be a black canistor located at the gearbox module as the car has no gear box but the foward neutral etc, is located here , remove cap, using a T25 driver bit rotate clockwise for 18 /20 turns this should unlock park and the vehicle can be moved, make sure vehicle is chocked as it could roll, good luck on the Fiat ,by the way that fiat will take on all the cars in yard to 60 mph
Vauxhall/Opel was purchased by PSA in 2016 , they then merged with Chrysler / fiat and formed Stellantis, to get it out of Park you can undo the Park Finger , needs to be turned 80 times , that motor looks like the same one as we fit to the Vans up North. Badged, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen, Opel and Fiat , badge engineering at it's best. Any advice on how it works get in touch. By the way make sure you charge the 12v battery while it's off or it will not go into ready mode. Plus recharge the Aircon.
As an EV owner and driver for over 10 years and a certified Electric Head (According to the wife) am glad to see you working on them, and you have your self a bargain the battery pack alone is worth well over 6k as that's what 5yo+ Renault Zoe ZE40 parks go for on ebay
worked on an ecorsa recently, main reason it would not start was fan motor damage and those brown relays for it on the left. as soon as we plugged in the new one and replaced the relay and some fuses it was fine. since electric motor and batteries depend on the coolant, it will not activate with no fan motor communication. 2021 corsa, used the autel diagnostics.
If you ever have problems moving cars due to wheels locked or handbrake will not release, use baking trays under the wheels for easier moving both on and off the truck or on concrete/gravel surfaces.

If it's anything like my old 500e there is a park release on the end of the transmission. Looks a bit like an oil filter housing with a rubber bung in the end. Remove the bung and you can wind the park off with a t20 or t25, can't quite remember which. It takes quite a lot of turns. Access is from underneath.

Perhaps this: "Yes, the Park lock can be released manually. The transmission locking pawl is activated by a small electric motor, mounted at the top front of the alloy casing near to the air conditioner compressor. There is a small hole in the end of the black steel body of the motor, filled by a rubber bung. Remove the bung and insert an Allen key ( 6-sides, probably 2.5, 3, or 4mm ). Ensure the transmission is not under load from drag or the weight of the vehicle, then rotate the Allen key about 25 times. I don't know the direction to turn, maybe it does not matter - try clockwise first."
I’m in the same boat currently. Got hold of a 2022 500E RED edition for £1950 doesn’t run like yours. But with 12v I can put it in neutral and take parking brake off. I was told it will run with a reflash of the system but needs all electrical Items replaced first. Let me know how you get on.

I'm watching this after driving my 6.2 litre V8 Holden Commodore from Broken Hill to Adelaide. Chalk n cheese.
I think it will be a good buy...a few head aches to come though...won't be finished this year though...
Nice looking car funky interior very different looking forward to next video ❤
What a fantastic buy , definitely out of your comfort zone guys , but with your network of people , am sure it ll.be a nice project!! At an absolute bargain!!!!
i actually quite like this, it's the right amount of 'rugged'ness for an suv/crossover thing, the styling is nice too, good for the money you got it for. if you ever want to be fancy when you see an italian flag on a car say tricolore 😎
Rob waffling while Chris is running his eyes over everything and seeing what’s needed, top class guys it’ll be interesting to see how much the bits cost, nice one guys, Rob I’m not complaining just having a little bit of fun as you always say enough waffling, personally I think it’s a brilliant buy
