Hey, how can I get in touch with you? I have a couple questions. What state are you building in? What is the brand of ICF form that you’re using? Etc. we are getting ready to do the same thing you are…
Yes, that is a big plus! However, we've been told that certain critters don't mind just tunneling up the foam to the top of the house and getting in that way. We took all the precautions we could think of (and afford). We will give a 2 year rundown after living in it. I'm excited to see how it performs!
@@Mountainview-mesa If we go ICF then 8”, asked so I could get a better estimate of your concrete costs which appears to be double what a local concrete company quoted me a couple of months ago, but i also have at least 2 if not 3 different companies that service my area so i know that helps.
@inmyimage1081 An icf roof is an incredible idea, and we did consider it, yes. I veered away from it mostly because I'm not confident in my ability to get it right. As a roof system, I need to feel great about the details, or I will be constantly living under a giant question mark. I'm very familiar with trusses and wood, so that's what I went with!
Thank you sooo much for this awesome video. Straight to the point.
@@arsalan101 We are so happy you appreciate it. We try to keep these as short as possible while also being somewhat watchable.
Great info. I toured the SuperForm plant last week.
Very cool!
Thank you thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

@@Mountainview-mesa not when the floor is solid concret never happens Thanks
sorry, i can’t remember but are you using 8” or 6” forms?
8". I don't know that I would have chosen 8" over 6", I just didn't know that was an option. What are you thinking about using?

@inmyimage1081 we have a lot of concrete suppliers here. They are all just very expensive. Still worth it for the quality of home we end up with!
@@Mountainview-mesa Did you consider an icf roof? If so what made you decide against it?
