Thank you for the mention Laine ❤ Gifted luxury is becoming an issue because so many luxury influencers have stopped buying and wait for PR. I'm so tired of every video being sponsored too 😂
Yes what is the point of gifting a luxury bag to an influencer who isn't into that particular brand, style or colour and just gets loads of bags sent to them and does a quick fire unboxing of them all in a dull way! It really lights up my day when a content creator receives a bag that they are so over joyed with happiness, genuinely excited by the bag, the style and colour. This why I look forward to your videos, your real passion and total joy when unboxing your chosen bag is so lovely to watch.
That’s such an incredible thing for me to hear, thank you so much for the kind words!!! 🥹❤️ Ohhhh and I particularly dislike the voiceover videos where you can hear they’re not even trying to pretend to be excited about those gifts - it’s become something so casual 🫠
I think you hit the nail on the head--brands simply need to do more research into who they're gifting and partnering with. It might take more time but it would be way more beneficial for them! I've been on IG for years now, mainly in the travel space and I've turned down so many offers because they just don't align, which should be obvious to the brand from the get go. Unrelated, but another thing that bugs me specifically about brand partnerships is that they often require approvals and for me I feel like they always automatically make content more salesy and unappealing for the audience, basically shooting themselves in the foot! But that's another story 😅
I agree and that’s because that’s what they’re trying to turn them into - sales people 😩 And while there’s nothing wrong with working in sales, influencers are the face of their own brand not a person behind a phone - once they ruin their reputation, it’s game over 💔
It makes sense why celebrities carry low quality Dior, Prada, LV, Gucci, Chanel bags...they wouldn't have bought them themselves, but they were free and they were paid to do it.
Ahahaha, it’s okay!!! I’d even say it’s better that way 🤣❤️ But basically almost everyone who has more than 200k subscribers/IG followers/TikTok followers!
I watch nice people who have pretty things hahaha but once it becomes too much like advertisement then it gets harder to trust them and their opinions. But really above all it’s whether they are nice people or not. Genuinely good personality over materials any day. I think then they wouldn’t just be lying about things they got for free but really wouldn’t recommend.
It makes me happy to hear that there are still such RUclipsrs/influencers out there! ❤️ I have a few favorites but, unfortunately, with each year, seems like the list is getting shorter 😩
Great points! Love you voice and your style. I m personally turned off when influencers receive free luxury. Even if they disclose it. Makes me think… why should i spend my hard earned money on this item when this influencer gets it for free? Also…. The company must feel this item Is not really good if they need to give it away for marketing purpose Last year i saw the lv camera box and fell in love with it. The marketing campaign has/ had Emma Stone wearing it. And it looked soooooo good. After I purchased the bag, I saw a video from Jessie talking about the same bag.. .. lv gifted to an influencer, can’t remember her name. I saw this influencer unboxing, she talked about bag being delivered from lv to her house. She said she was excited about bag, but she didn’t even look excited And her closet has or had mainly chanel and hermes bags I was so upset i returned the bag the next day. I understand how marketing works, but this strategy doesn’t work for me. For some reason I don’t mind if an actress or an artist i like receives for free. Thank you for the video ❤
Actually, this video was partly inspired by that same bag! There were many other reasons why I chose against buying it, but the way it was gifted was incredibly ignorant 🫠 Thank you so much for your kind words 😍❤️
I could not agree more. I am tired of hearing fake praise from infuencers and how fantastic quality everything is when in reality the situation is very different.
I can tell when it’s gifted. You know it’s not even their style they are promoting things to make you buy them and earn commissions. And you will never see them wear it anymore
Exactly!!! I think that’s actually one of the reasons the big influencers don’t show off their handbag collections anymore as well - they have to show how many they’ve given away/sold 💀
I would gladly accept any designers 😂 id make it clear it was a gift, but if i didnt like the bag id give it to my mom or best friend. So im like hia! Send me and my mom them please 😂

Hey hey, I watch ur videos too & yes I agree!
Yep - and, worst of all, when the sponsorship part takes nearly the whole video 🫠 Like… That’s just mean 😅
he variety of textures in the mamacoo pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.

I might not watch some of these influencers you are talking about… now I’m curious who they are😂😂

It’s crazy, right? The amount of times I’ve been disappointed… 😩
