And Jeff is probably the one man who could fill Jason's shoes with respect and honor....

Marty and Jason originally wrote all these songs as instrumentals, but Mike Varney of Shrapnel Records made them write lyrics at the last minute to make the music more "commercial". Jason and Marty were against having singing but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do lol
Nice, a Carvin V220... I have an 86 V220 and it plays amazingly. The action, intonation, and best of all the tone as well as harmonics are just perfect. Nothing made these days compares to them!

These are the guitarists of the past that many people forget about. Jason Becker, in my eyes is the greatest guitarist to ever live. I know that people are going to argue my point and say stuff like, MAB can play faster or, Yngwie can easily top him. Maybe so, but Jason put so much heart into his music, just look at some of his other songs. It is a horrible shame that he never reached the top of the charts, because he deserved to. Same goes for Marty F. and everyone else in Cacophony.
I'm caught in a never ending battle between bein a die hard Racer x fan or a Cacophony junkie. everytime i think 1 is better, i find sumthin new that changes the game... darn these superhuman shredders!

They are both incredible guitarists, in my opinion just as good as each other, jason is a bit more technical sometimes but marty sure can burn up the neck too and he has some incredible creativity. They are both awsome
I'd imagine that Cacophony sheet music is extremely rare, I've only seen 1 cacophony cd in a in a store once.... pissed cuz i didn't have no flow to buy it, i was just lookin at shit while my home boy bought up on some shit. It was a hmv in montreal. so i'd imagine it would be hard to find any cacophony merchandising. maybe on ebay.
The Carvins Duo. Just amazing. I love Jason technic but Marty is my favourite maybe he doesnt have Jason speed and technic but he is a better compuser and more melodic.
