Guitar`s are perfect, no words, simply beautiful 1000/10 bass are amazing! 10/10 drums are great, not a single beat missed, perfect 10/10 as for vocals... well he is there and he tried his best, good job buddy😊🫶

Its like he was able to make the instrument sound exactly like it was meant to sound and because of that the gods only gave him a few short years to wield it.
In Peter Marrino's defense, it sounds like the camera mic got in range of the stage monitors and picked up quite a loud bit of dry vocals. Other than the moose in heat howl at 4:23 I'm sure it sounded good out front (for thrash vox, anyway). There's no excuse for a bloated singer stuffing a cucumber down his spandex though - wrapped in foil or not.
The vocals on Black Cat are much better. Not sure WTH was going on with Desert Island Love the gumby shirt Love Marty and Jason hamming it up for the camera. These guys are so crazy good. Thanks Mike Varney!
Peter Marino was in a band called 9.0 on shrapnel records after this, the album Too Far Gone is really good, Paul Gilbert taught the guitarist in that band.
It’s hard to think of Jason or Marty hearing these vocals and lyrics and Saying Yes those are killer, So I’m not sure what possessed them to get with this guy, I’m guessing his dad had the money in the group!! Lol lol That is not even considered singing where I come from!! That’s Scream Shouting!! Lol lol lol Love you Jason sad you had to be a part of this!!!
Probably the record company wouldn't allow for a instrumental album and they had to get a vocalist. I mean basically the entire album is to show the world the Amazing skills to of the guitar players.
Saw a clip in some website that highlighted one or two bad moments of the singer claiming that he was unlistenable. Guy sounds very good and of course the rest of the band is beyond comparison
Singer gets shit on, but he had passion and I don't think did a bad job at all on the 2 albums. I think he did what he had to do and let Marty and Jason do their thing and be the highlight of the show. He could hit the notes and that's what matters, I still would have had a killer time at this show if I was there

pretty sure i've read it somewhere that the whole album was just supposed to be instrumental and Varney made Becker and Friedman add vocals cause he was afraid that a pure instrumental album wouldn't sell as well
