Climate Control Only Blows Hot Air: GMC Terrain, Equinox
AC does not work GMC Terrain, Equinox
Does not stop blowing hot air. How to fix GMC Terrain, Equinox climate control to stop blowing hot air. It is very easy to fix GMC Terrain, Equinox climate control. Take apart the climate control box under the glove box. Unplug the 3 sensors in the climate control, then turn on the AC full blast, then turn off the GMC Terrain, Equinox and plug everything back in.

Dude, you're a hero. I've been trying for ever to figure out what was wrong. Did just this and bam everything worked. Only thing I didn't do is unplug the evaporator sensor thingy.

I literally just unplugged the two temp sensors and it worked like a charm. Wtf I was about to start trying to find a leak somewhere, crazy how much time and money this video actually saved me

I’ve had 3 terrains one was totaled quickly after being bought this is the 2nd one I’ve had the AC stop working in, did u have to buy any new parts or did u just unplug and replug stuff back in???

Our car was blowing hot air on ac and I unplugged the battery for 15 min and that fixed it

Would a 2013 equinox have automatic climate control? I don’t see an auto button. Looks all manual. if that’s the case I would not have those sensors or do all of them have that? I’m asking because the blend door actuator did not solve the problem. It’s still blasting hot.

You said the external temperature sensor was bad. I’m assuming it’s not the temperature sensors that you’re talking about? Because they appear to be internal is the external one the one over my head in the driver seat?

My ac isn't blowing that cold I mean it cool but not ice cold. I bought some freon but haven't put it in yet. So I think I'm going to do this method. My air gets cold when sitting at stop light but when driving the air feels a bit warm.

@@cassandrabethancourt1213 I added freon and my ac blows cold now I hope u could try this.. I bought a 7 bucks freon at AutoZone. Just to see if it do the job and it fixed my issue. Now I need to fix this radio that keep going off and on

if u press "air inside" button (or whatever that buttons name is) , it won't pump heat in the car 😉

Negative. If there’s a malfunction the Recirculate Air button just blows the same hot air.

Currently riding in a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox rental car and I gotta say, this thing is a p.o.s. Climate control fan won't shut off so it's constantly blowing hot or cold air. And the radio won't let you delete crappy stations other ppl have saved. And I've been in it for 8 hours and read the owners manual front to back AND googled shit so you can't I haven't tried to fix these problems. Chevy=garbage.
