It's a long story as to why, but Mega Man characters recently hijacked my current DnD campaign. This is making for a spectacular backing track for the climax of our current arc.

Basically it started out as one of the players using "Mega Man" as a place holder name and character portrait since all he knew at the time was he wanted to play a little robot guy with ranged weapons. (I did make up a fake DnD-ified Mega Man character for him, but for some reason he opted not to use it.) Fast forward a few quests and we're warped to the plane of Eberron which has robots everywhere. Since I happened to know a bunch of Mega Man lore despite not being the guy playing the character, I started dropping story details about Dr Light and the robot masters to the DM. Before we knew it, all the autognomes and warforged were substituted for robot masters, all of which were built by Dr Light. The "Climax" that I'm referring to is when we got to stop a violent robot rebellion which was being led by a demon-worshipping Bass.
Yeah, but to be really nerdy, bass Japanese name is Forte, though being another musical pun, it has less to do with bass. But the classic series is always bass heavy. Less rhythm guitar than in the X series.

Actually, this one is one of the few MM7 songs that actually has confirmed composer credits (Makoto Tomozawa), but yeah, since MM7's composer list is a mess otherwise (especially since Theme of Bass is one of the many that _doesn't_ have composer credits), I can see why you'd go for the safer route and credit all of them lmao Damn solid work as always btw :)

Listening to Metalltool's covers is always a great pleasure! Don't know how to describe it exactly ... but these tracks manage to create some kind of deep and intense atmosphere many other covers/remixes never reach. You can literally FEEL the music! \m/
There are many other artists in this genre who inspire me: Sixto Sounds, GaMetal to name a few. But thanks for letting me know. This means a lot to me. I tend to take my music seriously at times, I guess that's why I put so much effort into it. Thanks man sincerely.
The best intro stage music in any OG MM game and you nailed it my guy, damn. I'd love to hear you tackle Flash in the Dark from MM9 or honestly ANYTHING from MMZ such as Departure, Cannonball, or Falling Down.

I'm listening to this cover very often and yesterday I decided to look at the comments out of curiosity and noticed that you put hearts on a lot of them, which I think is really cool, but then I decided to look at the most recent comments, and saw that you do the same even with recent comments! It's very rare to see this and I respect that a lot, I wish you a nice day, month, and year :) (This is my absolute favorite version of this song btw, you're really damn good!)
If this was the version playing in the intro stage, I'd probably put triangular wheels on Auto's large car thing to slow it down; then I'd have extra time to jam to the banger. You even made the Bass Rock, Man Now I know I'm late, but I definitely knew to Rush over here once I saw, so I could make some Wily puns and make you Roll with the punches. That said, I do think you went a little Light on the time for this one, but I also thought your other cool songs felt short too. Boy, am I in Treble now. These puns are so bad I'd get shot on the street like some sort of robot.

I really love the solos and the mix which is par for the course for you heh I have an arrange of this too lying around and it's kinda fun to see how different they are. I wouldn't have left the bassline from the original alone, but somehow you make it work without letting it get repetitive which is unexpected :>
