Hey bro, I like this remix, it truly is more than impeccable and overwhelming, you have my respect, it fascinates me, with this MegaMan X3 soundtrack it does fill me with pride in continuing to play.
the horn counter melody beginning at 5:58 really brings out the desperation in the lead melody from that point onwards. this is superior music craftsmanship. i find myself listening to this at least once a week. edit: anyone else get this progression of upbeat rocker tunes in x, then in x2 and even more so in x3, the themes become more and more melancholic as if x himself is having an internal struggle to understand or becomes disillusioned with what it is he's doing. a hero in one story is a villain in another.
It’s honestly amazing how you turned a catchy 1 minute loop into an almost 9 minute emotional rollercoaster. Seriously, you are probably my favorite VGM remixer at the moment and am always looking forward to your next upload. At least three of your songs deserve a spot on anybody’s VGM playlist.

I know right! dude i listen to this song at least 1 time per day, it boosts my work like 300% lmao. What a genius.
The turning point of this cover going into the second half is actually euphoric, this is so excellent, I watched this when it came out and I’m surprised I didn’t comment Much love, you always deliver 👏
As a kid I'd put this tune on from the games sound test and do my chores. Now I do those chores to your rendition in my pocket!! Wonderful work! Washing dishes is epic again!
Dude, I listen to your remixes always, and this in particular since its release a few years ago, but I never commented... what an incredible work you did here, really! personally, I think this is your best remix ever. You have my respect and admiration, greetings from Chile my friend!
He added so much of his soul to this song, yet he kept the original essence into it. It's not just the same song played at different instruments. This is top tier musician's work
A song about a Reploid who went Maverick on his own accord who lost his brother from an unusual person named "X". And he wants revenge so he orchestrated this attack on the Aerial Crafter as a means to lure X here to kill him the same way he killed his brother making it as if he's the hero. Which is why the song sounds so heroic, but at the same time heartbreaking which is the absolute beauty of this soundtrack. It's making you think that Gravity Beetle is in the right and he's the hero and not Mega Man X. As if he's punishing and killing X for not trying to find a better solution instead. In other words, it's a tragic tale told in such a melancholy way that it can't be described hard enough with words alone. 💔
The middle section is fucking brilliant. The slow part gave me that Frost Walrus (second part of the stage) vibe. Also the breakthrough to the faster part of the interlude... goosebumps. Kudos to your dedicated work!!!
@@haha_hollie I dunno. Just because 3 and 4, more so the latter than the former, are so short doesn't mean they wouldn't work in a Medley. Though, I will say this. If you did a medley of the four, you'd need to follow it up with something at the end because ending it on Stage 4 just feels.....incomplete. Plus, I'm confident that putting together a Sigma Fortress Medley would be a cakewalk for our boi Metalltool here. =P
I somehow missed this. RUclips's subscription system is a load of balls. Anyway, as for the arrange: Honestly, you've outdone yourself. You either put a ton of work into this or you're some kind of genius, but either way, stellar job, 'cause this is pretty much fantastic from start to finish. also we have the same haircut now which is maybe a big part of why it sounds so great
I've been listening this masterpiece for a whole year. Still cant' describe my feelings. One of the most unique, beautiful and amazing music I've heard in all my life.
What impressed me about this cover is the quality of the instrumentation, the tone, the keyboard, everything reminds me of something from the PS1 MMX soundtrack
When I was growing up, particularly in my teenage years, I hated remixes, I don’t know why but I was die hard original or nothing. But you single handily changed my mind on that the first time I ever heard one of your remixes, and I think this and sigma stage 1 remix encapsulated that best, the obvious honor to the original while simultaneously adding too and expanding on it, I know society would say you shouldn’t get emotional over video game music, but the emotion behind the remixes is palpable. Amazing remix and thank you for reminding me how much I loved this series.
Wow, this arrangement is on another level! The original is one of my favorite tracks in the MMX series, and you lifted it to new heights with all the extra guitar and synth solos. Amazing job!
Love that riff from 3:45!! Anything higher up on the fretboard that also uses 4th's to some degree usually has a totally rockin' sound that balances out the heavier riffs that're pitched lower.
I bow to your arranging skill and musicianship. This is a perfect capture of the spirit of the Gravity Beetle stage and I'll forever point to this as the quintessential soundtrack of this stage. Thanks for posting
I love how your remix manages to picture Beetle's characteristics and feelings in the song. One of the first to question the definition of a Maverick and to stand for what he believed in, grieving and struggling but still having faith on his own strength and maybe not knowing precisely what is right but definitely knowing what is wrong, Gravity Beetle was really a special reploid. He'll always be my personal favorite.
Dude, that is THE BEST remix of this track that I have EVER heard. You capitalized on the right parts of the song PERFECTLY, extending them and adding to the rest of the song in ways that makes it feel anthemic, epic, storied, emotional, triumphant, and powerful. You combine so many music styles from so many artists across so many eras of music so perfectly that other artists of considerably more fame and recognition than you fail to even grasp. Remixes like these are one of the few instances of music that can truly move me, and even amongst those fewer still can move me as this track has done. THANK YOU.

Hell Yeah! I'd like to do a video for every release normally, but it takes so long. Very difficult with my dayjob and band... But I'll keep doing them anyways. The end result is always fun
Such an awesome cover, insane man. I just love the part from 4:45 to 5:40 so much! Ooo I have the same Ibanez guitar (the white one) what a gem that is to play on!
