nintendo? you mean capcom sir and yeah, but it's better than Megaman Zero's crap story, literally if you are observant enough you would understand that there is absolutely no solid reason for you to fight the neo arcadian reploids.
Dude, you really understand the style of MegaMan X, the one Capcom itself forgot starting on MMX4! This is how X music should be without SNES sound chip's restrictions.
X4 wasn't terrible. X5 is when it really went downhill Try 20XX on Steam if you like classic MMX 1-3 but like customization. 20XX is the spiritual successor to original MMX style.
@@natashamosokito5080 I mean, I personally loved x5 with songs like duff mcwhalen's theme (being just a remixed bubble crab theme), the final zero stage is good and decisive battle was great. Personally, I dont really get what you mean by x5 going downhill (in terms of music).
I love this stuff. MMX knew how to mix guitar and synth/keyboard REALLY well, it shows in all of the MMX games I've played. It just makes it that much better to hear when someone knows how to keep that mood between the synth and guitar. All of your covers do that, times ten! You know how to add your own twists with the solos and stuff, while still staying true to the mood/tone of the music. Ive only found one other cover of Flame Mammoth that I liked, but this one blew it WAY out of the water! The whole song makes me want to headbang, but when the part at 2:40 hits, I just want to jam out like crazy! Mad props man! I really hope to hear some more MMX covers from you! Launch Octopus (X1), Grizzly Slash (X5), Bubble Crab/Duff Mcwhalen (X2 and 5, same theme), Zero's Theme (X3), and Boomer Kuwanger (X1) just to name some badass tunes Id love to hear your take on!
Great cover, the best I've seen of this one. The intro riffs for some reason remind me a little of Tommy Iommi from Black Sabbath, and the performance of the whole song is excellent.
this remix is PERFECT perfect blend of electric guitar and acoustic instruments perfect blend of bass and electric. and perfect upgrade of the original classic theme. WELL DONE
+DissonantZero I guess I just take my time! I would love to do more videos though, right now I'm stuck to simple audio picture releases, due to time issues.
Who ever disliked this was a complete jerk, and doesn't have a good taste for music, and did not consider the work put into this. This is more than music, this is art! Heck, all of your music is!
that beginning riff is awfully close to the beginning riff of the team Chaotix theme from sonic heroes, but that came out like 7-years later "STORM TORNADO"
This is fine work, my god. Excellent use of every instrument, the riffing is in all the best places... you took a great track and made it even hotter. Great job, mate.
I found your channel with your X3 opening cover, but damn man you've got such a good sound. I instantly subscribed. I especially love the tone you use on your rhythm guitars
In Megaman x3 Opening, Mcknuckle version suits my taste better, but in this one, you made a better version imo. The intro is REALLY powerful. Nice work. Keep it up!
hey buddy I hop you doing well! what is the music-producing doing? will there be a "Under Fire"/"It's shopping time" alike remix? :))) btw what do you think about the sonic and nuckles lava reef zone theme?
The guitar I used was a LTD Eclipse 407 with EMG 81-7 and 707 pickups in it for rhythm guitar. The solo was recorded with my Ibanez s420 with at the time a Seymour Duncan SH4 pickup. As for tone I used digital amp modeling. I recorded it with BIAS Desktop and mixed it with Cubase 8.5. A lot of EQ was used though
Thank you for all the detailed info! Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of knowledge about pickups, but I was wondering what kind of EQ settings and filters you used to get that tone.
+san_ake Basic parametric and non parametric eq that come with every DAW. I'm no pro so I just try to cut more frequencies rather than boosting, I basically try different things out until it works.
+Metalltool as to filters I don't use any I think I used it once on another track. I watch a lot of tutorials on yt and try it those things out. sorry if I couldn't help.
This is an incredible remix of one of my top Mega Man songs. I think you hit a perfect balance of synth and metal for this particular song, which I've seen other peoples' covers sometimes fall short of achieving. I hope you considering doing more from Mega Man X, I would love to see Spark Mandrill or Sigma Stage 1. To be honest, I think you could cover any MMX song and I would be thrilled.
what guitar equipment are you using dude? sounds awesome! are you using an AXE FX, or Kemper profile? or even the Line 6 Helix??? Or are you using a amp and pedals mic'ed up???
Thank you for the comments and likes guys! I'm always left speechless by the reactions..
+Metalltool Dude, your remixes are SO good. Holy balls! REALLY glad I found this channel.
+Metalltool Oh man! your remixes are freakin' awesome!, I really really love hear them :D :D :D
+Metalltool Amazing as always! Great work.
ever played mm10? cause i think the 1st & 3rd wily stages for that game would make for AWESOME covers like this
it sounds better this way then the orginal.
I would love to hear my theme done.
And you will!
I would greatly appreciate it. I loved this and your X3 Zero theme remixes.
lol. Storm Eagle in the flesh/metal
Why does Nintendo make you play as someone who DESTROYS all his former friends? You only submitted cuz that jerk Sigma beat you down.
nintendo? you mean capcom sir and yeah, but it's better than Megaman Zero's crap story, literally if you are observant enough you would understand that there is absolutely no solid reason for you to fight the neo arcadian reploids.
I don't always listen to your covers, but when I do, so do my neighbors.
This has gotta be my favorite MMX remix of all time. So good. Incredible job man
Thank you!

Agree, except about X4, it's pretty good imo
The Snes soundchip is just another instrument like any thing else, but I know your logic
This is probably one of the best MMX remixes I've ever heard. Especially at 2:40... like damn that was sooooo good.
it's been 4 years since i've heard this and many other of your covers for the first time, and like a good wine, they still good as hell
My brother thought I was listening to slayer xD
Flaming Mammoth was slay by x buster :p
Tom Araya looks like a Mammoth now haha
Mega Man X: Maverick Slayer.
wtf it doesnt even sound close
Instead of "raining blood" could it be "flaming blood" or "raining flames"? :D

Awesome man! I will definitely keep an eye on my subscription list!
@@Metalltool Do the Area Zero themes from Megaman X5.
Can anybody help me out with this, what is the instrument at 4:14?
This is a synth lead, specifically the OP-X Pro II plugin, which is modeled after an Oberheim OB-Xa
@@Metalltool thank you :)
I love those arts, this music. Damn if we got an animated series on mmx with good writing, and well drawn pictures... what a dream that would be.
That Noumander is _BURININ'_ !
Awesome job! This cover (as with all the rest) have really withstood the test of time!
Great cover, the best I've seen of this one. The intro riffs for some reason remind me a little of Tommy Iommi from Black Sabbath, and the performance of the whole song is excellent.
this remix is PERFECT
perfect blend of electric guitar and acoustic instruments
perfect blend of bass and electric.
and perfect upgrade of the original classic theme. WELL DONE
This had some rage against the machine vibes at certain parts..
This is rad, man. One of my favorite songs from X1.
3:09 = I can't stop headbanging. So damn good.
Get ready for the moshpit
thrashy af
SAME
loving your remixes, hoping to hear many more! and these artworks look amazing!
+Brasilisk There will be more
+Metalltool Its been so long I thought you were dead!
+DissonantZero I guess I just take my time! I would love to do more videos though, right now I'm stuck to simple audio picture releases, due to time issues.
I was hyped for this one you are perfect
+DissonantZero thanks!
This is the best flame mammoth remix I've ever heard, 0:55 best part!, i LOVE IT
its been 7 years and i still pump iron to this shit. its so fucking *chiefs kiss*
🤌😙🤌
🤘😆💗
That was just excellent.
Rythmic, raw, powerful.
Who ever disliked this was a complete jerk, and doesn't have a good taste for music, and did not consider the work put into this. This is more than music, this is art! Heck, all of your music is!
The reverb while the guitar screams makes it sound that much better.
extreme eargasm...you're awesome dude!
That fan art is spectacular !
This is incredible, theres no denial of the quality of your remixes. I'm subscribing, keep up the good work.
Long time since I've seen Momo! My favourite RPG
I am legitimately jealous of your talent, dude. Capcom should be hiring YOU.
It's actually been 8 years so I'm surprised you are still hearting comments!!
Dude, this thing KICKS ASS!!! What an amazing remix man!!! You have earned so many cool points from me on that note!!!
Merry Christmas! This gift of song is the BEST! I can't wait to see what you do with Spark Mandrill's theme.
That's hot! 🔥
Best Christmas gift ever haha
2:22
awesome man!! one question why sounds the lead like its so far away in the background? is that on purpose?
I still have problems leveling the instruments in the mix, that's why
+Metalltool and I don't want to overshadow the other stuff. guess I'm being too cautious
Metalltool are you using an other tool for mixing? or recording?
cause you did an epic job mixing on the X3 opening theme...
Nope just a mixing issue.
Metalltool okay
3:00 - Loved that little work-in from Toxic Seahorse there.
Just keeps getting better and better!
that beginning riff is awfully close to the beginning riff of the team Chaotix theme from sonic heroes, but that came out like 7-years later
"STORM TORNADO"
That background would make such an awesome painting! I'd hang that in my place any time!
Awesome work. I'd love the hear the opening stage for Zero on MMX5, that was my favorite theme. Keep up the good work!
This is fine work, my god. Excellent use of every instrument, the riffing is in all the best places... you took a great track and made it even hotter. Great job, mate.

Spark mandrills theme would be lit too 🔥
I been listing to this song for years still slaps
It reminds me of x5 / x6 games, it's awesome dude ! Thanks a lot for the effort you put in this mix =)
I was aiming for a X4/5 style sound. Guess it worked
Metalltool Definitely ! I really liked it =D

In Megaman x3 Opening, Mcknuckle version suits my taste better, but in this one, you made a better version imo. The intro is REALLY powerful. Nice work. Keep it up!
I love how you put your creativity on those without affecting the original creation.
This guitar line is guided by the raging flames of the magnificent Mammoth!
The brutality at 3:10 is just
This is absolutely beautiful.
Wooooow!! That intro!!! 😍😍😍
I drive to the liquor store after work 30 over to this song 😂😂 real talk

+Metalltool hope you're doing well as well
That guitar sounds beefy! I dig this hard core!
Where did the picture come from?
Earned your self a sub my friend, this was legendary!
Amazing! Megaman X is my favorite video game soundtrack of all time. You do it justice my friend.
This one is the best version of Flame Mammoth's theme out there, pls do a MMX3 Gravity Beetle's theme remix, it would sound amaizing in your style!!
...And he did Gravity Beetle's theme, i'd say it's the best remix of it in youtube
hey...this is prety good

There are some likes of Metallica's Disposable Heroes riffs in there, it sounds very good
Sounds more like a mix of Fight Fire With Fire and Dyer's Eve
really good remix. you know how to make good music.
