They’ll just enter anyway. When I was a teenager, I came home from my job to find a note in our door from the police department. They sent an officer to come explain to my parents why the note was there. They were investigating a drug dealer and a CI gave them an address. The drug dealer was supposed to be leaving town that day, so the police department had to make a call between taking the time to go get a warrant based on CI info or going in with no warrant - they chose to go in with no warrant. The CI gave them a made up address and warned the drug dealer to leave town sooner. The address happened to be ours. So they had a cop break in through our back window and come into the house looking for the guy. Luckily nobody was home at the time because I promise if someone broke into the window without warning while my parents were home, guns would have been drawn on them and it would have been much worse. To make it even more controversial, the cop they sent to explain what happened to my mother was white and he described his black co-worker climbing into our window “like a monkey” - cops are gonna do what they want regardless of whether or not they have a warrant.

I bet you didn see that the 1st few shots wasn't aimed at her. But it "seemed" that the 2nd Cop was directly on line, closest to her, and the Cop who fired, hit her before any thing was thrown. It happened really fast. So you have to take time and analyse it. It seems that the Cop who Shot her was not the 1 directly threatened. It could be the 2nd Cop who attempted to go towards her... I saw the video of the night the Sheriff's dept showed up at Ms. Massey's home and just became sick. This brought waves of sadness, anger, bewilderment, etc. This lady lost her life in such a wretched manner. There was no reason for this to have happened.

The fellow officer should be held responsible for not being in the house with his partner. Being his partner, he should have known that this guy had a short fuse & was aggressive towards certain people. I also thought that when officers are in someone’s home, there are supposed to be in there together to make sure something like this doesn’t happen.

He was walking out the door to go to work at game stop (he was young) and police officers dressed in plain clothes started running towards him. They’ll just enter anyway. When I was a teenager, I came home from my job to find a note in our door from the police department. They sent an officer to come explain to my parents why the note was there. They were investigating a drug dealer and a CI gave them an address. The drug dealer was supposed to be leaving town that day, so the police department had to make a call between taking the time to go get a warrant based on CI info or going in with no warrant - they chose to go in with no warrant. The CI gave them a made up address and warned the drug dealer to leave town sooner. The address happened to be ours. So they had a cop break in through our back window and come into the house looking for the guy. Luckily nobody was home at the time because I promise if someone broke into the window without warning while my parents were home, guns would have been drawn on them and it would have been much worse. To make it even more controversial, the cop they sent to explain what happened to my mother was white and he described his black co-worker climbing into our window “like a monkey” - cops are gonna do what they want regardless of whether or not they have a warrant.

I believe that the noise she heard could have been those very same cop.. something ain’t right about this story with the cop who killed Sonya. I think she put the pot of hot water on if the intruder came in… and when the cop saw the hot water he made her turned it off and killed her. I think he wanted to rape her and killed her. This family has made it clear on numerous occasions that they have not been able to bring themselves to watch the gory footage from the police cam of the M-der of S. Massey because they feel that it is too much to deal with. Crump knows this and yet he still gives them a blow by blow detailed account about the trajectory of the bullet. SMDH.
I pray to God that justice is serve for Mrs Massey🙏🏽 tomorrow marks 9 years since my late husband got murdered by a police officer and even with all evidence and video showing the officer in wrong and shooting my late husband in the back 7 times, he walked away free😢😢😢 the system is all messed up and they will do anything and contingents lengths to cover their selves and their department up! This officer has no remorse for what he did to Mrs Massey as well as the officer who took my late husbands life. I said from the first time I saw this video that he flat up executed her. I showed my dad, his exact words were, "that man assasinated that poor woman". I think it's clear to anyone that watches the body cam that this was nothing short of an execution. Sonya saw something evil in that man, she knew. My prayers are with her family, I can't even imagine what they are going through. I also hope he gets life in prison where he gets to reflect every day on what he did hopefully getting prison justice every day he's in there.
The simple fact that she wasn’t even talking to the shooter. The other officer backed away as she’s removing the pot, she asked him why did he walk away, he laughed and said he was walking away from her boiling water, she either took it as an offense as if he was scared that she was going to throw it at them, or she was just joking by telling him “ I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” that arrogant guy with no self control decided to take it upon himself to kill that lady, thinking that he would get away with it. Saddest thing is, he had no remorse. If he didn’t mean it, he would have been freaking out and screaming that she accidentally shot the lady because he was afraid that she was going to throw hot water on him. Why couldn’t he just stop when she said she was sorry. He could have just said, okay mammm, I want you to just walk away from the stove with your hands up. Nope! He was so aggressive and ignorant and approached her as she was trying to hide from him behind the counter. That evil criminal needs to go to jail.
Perhaps the second one who was "walking away from her boiling water" knew not to be near her because he knew his gooney, diabolical ogre of a partner had plans to kill her and was previously advised to stay away from her so he didn't accidentally get shot.

My mom is Mexican. She’s the same height, weight and age as this woman. I think this could’ve been anyone’s mother this happened to. The cowering and pleading before being shot in the head is what was so heartbreaking

Regardless, when people can see themselves or loved ones in the victim, it increases empathy and opportunities for support and alliances. This is helpful, because we're often dehumanized by media (I'm a BW, too). We're not a large percentage of the country, so it's counterproductive to alienate.
