  • As I was looking for a thumbnail image for this video, I realized that there are basically no closeups in this movie, which isn't too surprising since there are basically no characters in the movie.

    I caught this, largely blind, in theatre a couple months ago, it truly is one of the most unique pieces of cinema I have ever seen. I want to give it another watch, but I'm not sure my home cinema set-up will stack up.

      @@TobinFitzthum I saw it in a big cinema as a class movie... that was in 1968 (Belgium)

    To me this was like Where’s Waldo the movie but I like your I Spy analogy better.
    Do you think you’ll ever review another Angelopoulos film?
