Love this one. I really altered my opinions of what an art film could be. Adjani is great in this but you’re right, Sam Neill does not get enough credit. Have you seen his first three movies? They’re all really strong, although I think Possession is where he peaked. All his eighties movies are lacking something although they all feature that bonkers style of acting.
I haven't seen the early ones. I think they are coming "soon" tho. One of my friends said he hated the one about love, which really piqued my interest.
