I have a 2007 Honda Civic I replace the first ECT sensor the found out the one connected to the radiator was bad the car did not even give me a check engine light or anything pulled it out it was white coated all over it but thank God I got my car back running thanks for the video got one on eBay for 9.99
M D glad the video helps. You were lucky. I'm thinking that your check engine did not come on is because even though it was corroded it still had enough life to send out a positive reading from the sensor.
Both my fans won’t go on even when I turn the ac on , you think replacing the radiator sensor this would maybe atleast get my radiator fan to work when needed
No they are not the same the one that goes on radiator its part number 37870RTA005 its different . Iooks the same but it's not. The one that goes on the engine it's 37870-PLC-004 but this other also work 37870-PNA-002, 37870-PNA-003
@@Seddysaid I know right hahaha. I had the same issue with my car. So I check comment no answer now you got the information for someone else in case they need it.
Nobody is showing this clip. How do you unclip the temp sensor? Someone needs to do a video just on that! I can't see the clip, being under the car & no lift. How does it come undone?!
Not sure I would try the cheaper options first. If no leaks and water pump issues then start with the bottom sensor due to the fact that it is exposed to more elements than the top making it more likely to become faulty.

Idk if its the coolant sensor it says its heating up and it goes back to to normal help

Does the senser on radiator works the same as the one on engine. Would a bad senser on radiator stop my fans. ?

Would this make ur temp gauge not even come on it comes on for a sec then goes off please someone help
Nice video bro. Get the door panel clip remover for those tab retainer. Best $7 I ever spent!
My sensor is fine but the connector is corroded, any advice for replacing it myself?
I would make sure it had some marine grade grease to prevent it from corroding more unless you felt comfortable replacing the connector boot.
I am facing the problem now.. check machine just gave me P2184 code... that's the second collant sensor... Still struggling to locate it..
Lograste localizarlo?
My coolant fans are running all the time..which sensor do I need to replace?
Mine doing same thing. Im thinking it's the relay in the fuse box located under the hood. Ill let you know when I find out.
@@ChuckyBeaver was it the relay or top temp sensor?
@@justfacts6105 neither. Relays good. Sensors are good. Still a mystery....
@@justfacts6105 The lower ect #2 they said was good but still going to change it out.
