Hi there Mark, thank you so much for visiting our beloved aquazoo. As a public aquarium run entirely by volunteers it's great too see you liked it so much. All of us are aquarium enthusiasts and most tanks are being looked after by 1 or 2 people putting time and effort into it that a place depending on profit simply cannot afford.
I live next to Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna, the oldest zoo in the world. And I can tell you, the aquarium facility in Schönbrunn lags far behind your facility. All the money Schönbrunn has cannot replace the love and dedication you put into your project.
Stunning aquarium, stunning exhibits. Extremely beautiful, great collection of fishes both salt water n fresh. Aquarium set ups are like a beautiful art exhibit. Very well done!
I'be been here with my daughters a year or so ago. Very diverse and very beautiful hidden gem! If I remember it correctly there is a fun aquarium in the back with only rocks and little fish hiding in holes who keep peeping in and out. That one was very fun.
Thank you for sharing this amazing place wow some really beautiful displays. I need to get there. I love it & every tank looks incredible in its own special way. Very cool it is run and maintained by volunteers & enthusiasts. I would pay top dollar to visit this magical place. Thank you for the tour. Loved the Congo river biotope!
Hey man! I just wanted to say like, you come across as such a chill guy in your videos. No forced or inflated personality for the camera like some of the other channels out there. When I watch your videos I feel like I just met you at a bar somewhere and you're now just showing me all of your cool shit at your house haha. Keep it up man
@@MJAquascaping No sweat honestly, I really enjoy watching your adventures. I feel like this hobby can shoot off in so many directions but you've really hit the nail on the head for me personally with the way you do things and your vision etc
Cool video! Just for your info.. the ‘lawnmower blenny’ was actually a Powder Blue Tang. I didn’t see a lawnmowers blenny in this video but when you first show the powder blue tang there is a Bi-colour blenny to the left :)
That definitely looks like a place worth a visit! It's always nice visiting such places (ZOO or aquarium gallery), even if they don't have such variety of sea tanks or the amount of display tanks overall. I always spend few minutes watching stingrays and "wolf cichlids" in a display tank of the LFS. 😅
Amazing, and, the colors of those salt water fish . . i m in awww but i think i found my favorite fish, tetra's, always nosy and inquisitive, i love m :-)
Wow, very nice indeed. They are probably open the short times due to all the maintenance that needs to be done routinely on the rest of the days 😂 What a cool place. Thanks for the tour and sharing your time. 👏🏼👏🏼
nice place! as a reefer who is getting into aqua scaping it would be nice to see both styles of tanks together. hate to say it but I have never seen a planted tank in real life.
Your favourite is mine favourite, full of my favourite plants, Crypts, Bucephalandra, and Java Fern Windelov. And the tank at the end the Hill stream tank. Maybe for a future project, a small paludarium with poison dart frogs? I had some Dendrobates Vittatus in the past, lovely animals and easy to breed.
What a fab (but random) place! Some of those tank are beautiful and I could easily see myself whiling away a few hours, chilling on a sofa watching them. Seems a shame to have them hidden away though; doesn't look like they'd get much passing traffic (which I guess is maybe the point, I don't know). Can't help but think, those tanks in a decent gallery-style location would be amazing.
We need to do a collab Mark, i have 11 (empty) dennerle tanks ready to get some love and im planning on making a new big tank to replace my fluval 130L.
Which one is your favorite? Also don't forget to smash that like button please! 😍

Your volunteer-run aqua zoo is better than any aquarium in my state (QLD, Australia)!

This is amazing stuff. And run by volunteers? Huge congratulations for the people that run this place.
Stunning aquarium, stunning exhibits. Extremely beautiful, great collection of fishes both salt water n fresh. Aquarium set ups are like a beautiful art exhibit. Very well done!
Nog nooit gehoord van deze plek maar ziet er geweldig uit. Als ik in de buurt ben ga ik er zeker kijken bedankt voor de tip en de geweldige video!

Wow! Absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for doing this video so we could all share the experience.
This was such an enjoyable experience. Thank you for sharing this with us MJ
Ik ben daar een tijdje geleden ook geweest en het is idd echt een geweldige plek!
Beautiful tanks. At 7:04, LM Blenny is being photobombed by Powder Blue Tang! I wonder how many non-saltwater folks saw the blenny?
Came here to write just that. "Blenny" is actually a tang but there is in fact a Lawnmower Blenny in the same frame.
this calm and relaxing presentation was perfect for a relaxed start into the day, thx a lot =)
WOW! What a find!
Here I am getting excited when I find a new fish shop in my city!
That place is incredible, thank you for sharing it. !
Beautiful tanks. I really like that nearly all of the displays are thematic.
Wow what a fantastic find mark, it was beautiful to sit and watch this with you thanks for sharing this gem with us all :)

Wow mooi zeg, leuk dat je dat gevonden hebt, al die mooie crypto's daar, mocht nog wel wat langer zijn de video, bedankt voor het delen!
I can't even keep my one tank clean, but these volunteers managed to make all these beautiful tanks clean!
i love those zoo planted tanks, the plants there always go crazy. the size of them is so much different to our nano tanks
That was amazing that shoal of african banded barbs were beautiful now I have another fish on my wish list
Wow best looking aquarium zoo/display I seen. Wish it was here in California.
At 10:02 those fish look like some kind of pacu or piranha 😳. Btw i recently found your channel, almost watched every video now 😅.
I live in the netherlands, and I wil visit this place!!
If you are referring to the blue fish at 7:06 that's a powder blue tang. The one behind it is the lawn mower blenny.
Correct!
Cool video! Just for your info.. the ‘lawnmower blenny’ was actually a Powder Blue Tang. I didn’t see a lawnmowers blenny in this video but when you first show the powder blue tang there is a Bi-colour blenny to the left :)
So amazing! Thank you so much for making this awesome video and the time you took to record such epic experience!! You rock dude
What a hidden gem. Thanks for sharing. Those eels were gigantic.

Ha Mark, Grappig is vlak bij mij in de buurt en ook pas wezen kijken daar.👌👌 je had wel op de koffie kunnen komen😉
Volgende keer!
Hi, the big fresh water puffer is a tetraodon mbu. This one will be than an tetraodon fahaka (lineatus). Both are african puffers
So beautiful 😮
Amazing, and, the colors of those salt water fish . . i m in awww

OMG ,so beautiful 🥰🥰🥰
Incredible place, thank you for the advise, must visit when in NL
I need a longer version of this video man
Amazing, top quality aquascapes !
Your Lawnmower blenny is actually a Powder blue surgeonfish
Really love this place.
3:42 looks like a MBU puffer, not a fahaka. MBU puffers tend to be much better for community tanks and are larger.
Yep agree, that was a Mbu.
nice place! as a reefer who is getting into aqua scaping it would be nice to see both styles of tanks together. hate to say it but I have never seen a planted tank in real life.
archer fish are probably one of my most favorite right now
Cool trip . Thank you :)

Nice aquarium zoo 👍🏻
Do you ever think about starting up a saltwater tank?
Sometimes yes!
Nice video 🥰 .. what type of plant is attached to the wood in 03:11 is it Crepidomanes malabaricum?
I'm not sure actually... kinda looks like bolbitis
@@MJAquascaping ok bro it look like very different plant😊
It’s a Bolbitis Heudelotii for sure
very cool
fantastic
I think that Fahaka is actually an Mbu puffer
puffer fish are on of my favorite fish

Did you wear the spray on pants to the secret aqua zoo? Haha ❤️
Always 😅
Epic!
WOW!
What you called a lawnmower blenny is actually a powder blue tang.
the blue tang photo bombed the shot of the blenny 😅
True aquarium lovers run this place.
The only thing I miss is a large biotope tank with native fish.
Wow. I am now official 52 seconds away from when I first learned that there is a fish with 4 eyes, lol
