As an aquarium keeper and someone who also enjoys the gym, MJ looking good brother. Your hard work in the studio AND the gym are awesome and inspirational. Love the content.
Great scape, CPDs are super fun to watch with a dwarf hairgrass carpet. They go nutes spawning every morning it's really fun to see especially in big groups like this.
Wow, that is an awesome scape, love the rocks and the contrast of the green hairgrass. I love Galaxy Rasboras and have been lucky enough to breed some :) they are finding a way into all of my scapes.
It's wonderful that you did something outside of the way you usually create your aquariums, stepped out of your comfort zone and created a beautiful aquarium 👏👏👏
Hi M.J I've been really looking forward to you starting this series of aquascaping in your new studio. This first tank is amazing and I also love Galaxy Rasbora's. That rock you used is great looking, with the way it looks. I would like to use it when I build my Asian style aquarium in the new year. Always enjoy your videos and thanks for sharing.
galaxy rasbora are one of my favourite nano fish. along with pygmy cory's and chilli rasbora. which i think would go amazing in that scape. btw one of the best iwagumi scapes ive seen.
Stunning Iwagumi 🔥 … but are CPDs a good choice for this style of aquascape? 🤔 In my opinion there are only a few fish who are good with high light and less hiding spots (kubotais, Brevibora dorsiocellata).
Hey MJ, Nice setup really like the layout. Please see if you could find sometime to share your experience about the APT start in a short video or maybe part of the video.
Hey MJ, I have a heavily planted 60p ( 24 ×15×15 inch ) tank with ( Monte Carlo, S-repens , Hygrophilla Pinnatifida, bacopa carolina, Rotala blood red, Rotala green , Ludwigia SP super red ) . The set-up is already 2 months old and there is no sign of alage. Yesterday I installed a Chihiros WRGB 2 PRO 60CM light . So what percentage (%) of WRGB ( each colour) will be suitable for the tank ? ( Soil - ADA amazonia v2 , Fertilizer APT 3 ) Please reply 🙏.
GREAT job, beautiful tank in so little time. I prefer Galaxy rasboras for nano tanks, though. They are extremely beautiful if watched closely, but kind of dull and boring (because they are shy) in such a big tank. I would have gone with espei and hengeli rasboras in this one: nice contrast, lot of movement, real schooling fish. Thanks for the video.
I'm wondering, if aquasoil's nutrients generally run out after 6 or so months how do you replace those nutrients in a Scape like this without tearing the whole carpet out.
Great iwagumi style, MJ! I would like to ask if I can directly plant the plants the same day I do the aquascaping? Or iwagumi style requires to wait max 2 weeks prior planting the carpeting plants? I am really a beginner, and your knowledge will be very appreciated.
I was just breeding galaxy rasbora 's and first batch i got a color mutant. I'm fairly new to raising these fry i hope it survives and fully matures. I haven't herd of any variations of galaxy rasbora 's
@@ballistic350 I’ve had pretty good results with stratum in the past! But depending on how many and what kind of plants you are going to use, you might want to add some extra root tabs in the substrate
@MJAquascaping awesome, i just did some research, seems like aqua soil is better as far as for plant growth etc, you're spot on, learned alot from your videos,
Hey, die dwergrassen, wat is de officiele naam daarvan en bij wie heb je die gekocht? Want zoals je zelf zegt is het ideaal dat er alleen water bij zit en geen gel en dat wil ik ook voor mijn aquascape!
Hmm the Rasboa want to have something bushy to hide for breeding. I don´t think the iwagume is a good place for them unless breeding isn´t on the wishlist.
Thanks for this wonderful video. I have a quick question. When you drain the water and refill it, do you use some of the drained water or is it completely new water? Keep up the great work
I love the video as always, but these fish need some hiding places. I am keeping them for a while and I can tell, that they need a few bigger plants. Don´t you think so?

Nice try 😂

Thank you! 😃
Love your video's so satisfying to see😊
0:23 What about the t-shirt? I need one.
How do you know what weight is tolerated?
That’s a lot of technology to grow grass
Great aquascape!
And Galaxy Rasboras... So amazing fish.
But they need a lot of place to hide.
This
Well done!
wow, i wish we had that much hardscape to choose from in our shops
Great T-Shirt 👕
Really nice tank good job❤
Thanks 😁
How is the shop called were you did the aquascape. Because I live in Czech Republic so I could visit it sometime
@ The shop is called Heems! It’s very close to Amsterdam
Did you use the dark start method at the start?
Yes 😁👍
Great results and such a beautiful tank! End the end of day, one A2 was enough to grow the dhg?

Can i use granite for an IWGUMI
I've never tried, so I don't know
Guess I'll have to try it out myself 😅
Ziet er top uit. 3 januari ga ik toevallig langs Heems ik ga zeker even een kijkje nemen als dat al mogelijk is
Zeker mogelijk!

You can plant straight away! But you might need to do more water changes in the beginning
I was just breeding galaxy rasbora 's and first batch i got a color mutant. I'm fairly new to raising these fry i hope it survives and fully matures. I haven't herd of any variations of galaxy rasbora 's
They are all mutants. Wild stock is much much darker in color, less Orange and more Reddish.❤
Super👍👏

Just from the local hardware store 😊
@@MJAquascaping what kind of product is it sold as at the hardware store? 😁

Lovely scape. Just wish I could get my grass and plants to grow that quickly! Mine are just dying. 😟
What a great tank! I have a "low-tech" iwagami scape on my wish list to build... not sure how that will work out.
lovely tank, think that big curved stone would have looked nice too, its an unusual shape

Great content and love the choice of fish. Just curious, can Iwagumi tanks be maintained without being high tech?
it is possible but requires patience, like a lot of patience
Definitely possible, I also think that if we would remove the CO2 now, it would be just fine

I was always wondering how the hell those Ada tanks are green dust algae free on rocks... now I know it's something normal

Man.. I wish you wouldve kept the dip in the back. .in my opinion it's too straight..still beautiful though.
I agree. Don’t be scared or really banking up that aquasoil behind the rocks. It would make it more dramatic.
Wel makkelijk als je niet langs de kassa moet gaan 🤣
Zeker 😂
