Great video as always. Think u guys got a couple more of in's than us in the highlands. Guys get used to a good Operator and get complacent, scare me. Always worried about machine malfunction. Keep it up.
I've never had an excavator malfunction, but one day a guy was running one and decided to take his coat off while the machine was hooked to a pipe that we we're all working on. He didn't lock the controls out, his coat pulled the boom up leaver and the pipe went flying straight up very rapidly everyone scattered like a bunch of mice. Fortunately nobody got hurt.
Ya you have to do your best to keep the sides clear from a cave in. We had 1 end of last year and the weight killed him fast but not fast enough he had good bite of dirt in his mouth and lungs. Some people don't realize how quick something like that can happen.
Yes it can happen fast that's why I keep those sides cut down even though it takes a lot longer. Oh by the way we worked on the first because it was the only day it didn't rain.
I sure enjoyed this video and with the two cameras it just makes it more interesting. Listening to the bantering is funny too. Great editing on your part. Funny there comes a rat LOL.
Awesome glad you found me, I don't think this was farm land, the county had it graded flat I think it used to be pretty rough. It would make good farm land now though.
