Just curious but there seems to be a lot of multigenerational properties in that area just based on the type of projects we have seen. Parents house will go there, kids house over there, etc. Is that common in the Carolinas? Up in PA I don’t hear of it much but perhaps I am just out of the loop. edit: to clarify multigenerational proprieties with different houses, I am accustomed to seeing multiple generation in a single house.

In a situation like this with the land already being so flat, I am curious if you considered using a tractor with landscape rake and box leveler. That dozer can push/pull with far more power than most tractors near it's footprint, but is all that power really needed when the land is so flat? That said I am NOT a dozer operator, just curious, not criticizing.

Do you think there is a market for a something like a pan scraper that has a leading pickup like a root rake / rock picker, followed by a pulverized / blending stage that mixes the pulverized material with soil and then redepodits it as desired?

You may not see this but…
I think a soil conditioner would cover that use. You’d just have to follow up with a sheep foot.

Cant believe it is so dry. I am coughing just watching.
We had over 1 inch of rain today in North Texas raining for 2 weeks straight.

I'm in New Mexico and we haven't had more than 1/8" of rain since last year. No monsoon. Extreme draught for the entire state.

Ah, that's no challenge for that dozer. You can do this by hand with some cheap workers or prisoners. 😄

Well that is as nice as pie! What do you do when instead of roots you get rocks, and every 16 or 20 feet they get wadded up between the rake teeth, so you have to beat them out with a sledgehammer? Asking for a friend who can’t afford a Seppi or FAE stone crusher.

Sorry to to keep on about it, but why didn’t you use the GRADER? It’s got the ripper in front for the roots, and a blade to do the rest!
