I am a craft/home distiller and somthing that I didnt suspect is that with my own still,I've found that my homemade spirits are far superior to alot of the liquor that I buy from the liquor store. The gin that I've made is absolutely better than anything that I've ever gotten from a store....I fuckin love this shit..

There are so many amazing distillers out there, many pioneers in their own states, and some idols who we all look to as the first generation who lead the way. Unfortunately we didn't have the access, budget or time to get to all of those we look up to for their efforts in building the industry and their steadfast focus on quality and craft. In all, we hope that this is a glimpse for many into the exciting renaissance happening now in the spirit world with a nod and tip of the hat to only a small fraction of the wonderful people, distilleries, and brands doing amazing things around the country.
A few that we didn't have the chance to visit and interview, but have made a huge impact on us and the industry as a whole are listed below. Please know we admire all of you, along with a handful I know I have missed.
    Hubert Germain-Robin - Germain- Robin
    Fritz Maytag - Anchor Distilling
    The Karakasevic Family - Charbay

    Philadelphia Distilling

You have a video with Dave pickerell talking about craft distillers with a bit of a focus on New York and don’t mention hillrock? Solera aged bourbon. Double cask rye. (If you’re lucky you can find those two in special finishes), and the absolute best American single malt made from peated malt and finished in PX Sherry casks.

You left out Patriarch Distillers, makers of Soldier Valley bourbon and vodka.
Also Cut Spike Distillers, making single malt whisky and vodka as well as Lucky Bucket beer.
    Both in LaVista, Nebraska.
