@@mamas7310 I left Russia when I was 4 and a half, back in 1980. There is this common belief shared among Russian Jews who left Ukraine back then, that the antisemitism there was pretty high. Granted, this was 40 years ago so no clue if that changed. But it's pretty telling that even in recent years when I had interest in visiting Ukraine, I was always cautioned by folks that I may face hostility there. On the flip side, I have visited Russia (Moscow) 3 times and felt very safe.
