The ESR wallet that swaps the find my side with 2 additional card slots is the one I use. I'm not worried about losing my wallet, so with this one I still get the stand, get some more cards in there, and one of them has an ID card window.
The ESR wallet doesn't pass the daily used test, unfortunately. The finger strap breaks off with normal use within a few months. You can see it startingto fail in your video even @8:40. The plastic oval that surrounds the metal pin that allows you to open the finger loop eventually breaks and then the loop just flaps around. There are hundreds of 1 start reviews because of this defect. Ithould definitely not be #1.
i bought another one and its a little different to the one I had previously (this one doesn't seem to have speaker holes on It but still has find my) so maybe they improved it
Yep, was going to comment the same thing. After two months the hinge snapped on my ESR and now it’s just a floppy wallet with no stand. Would not recommend.
Bought one recently and I’ve had the loop slip off a few times and was afraid of this happening down the road. I swapped from Magbak because their loops keep breaking too. I just want a wallet with a finger loop that will last 😭
Do any of these wallets stay securely on the iPhone for putting the phone in and out of a woman's shorts/jeans? My wife likes an integrated wallet so she can easily put the phone in her pocket and is initially against one of these magsafe versions but wondering if women successfully use these and the wallets stays secure when putting in your pocket?
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
I loved the ESR wallet but it just did not withstand general use for me. The fingerloop broke first. It started to slip out of the little metal disc. Then the disc fell off. The fake leather also started wearing out and discolouring. Maybe I got a bad one. I’m really tempted to get the one without ‘find my’ as it looks like they put a bigger disc on the fingerloop
I love a good luxrul because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing or NOT." That part right there. That's IT. I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!
I've had designer pieces and knockoffs of kislux . I ultimately prefer the knockoffs because I'm not worried about scratching it, preserving it, or someone stealing it.
I agree about LoveHandle’s name, but their products are great. I LOVE my wallet. My husband and I both hate the fabrics grips thought, because they feel way too tight. We both prefer the silicone ones.
I'm rocking the pop socket wallet in black. After 3 years the pop socket died but the wallet still works great, so I just got the pop socket replaced and we're still going strong! For those who wanna buy it, if u ever use it with 3 cards you wont be able to go back to 2 cards since it'll stretch permanently, so the grip on only 2 cards will be quite lose.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
Yeah like he said the design is just awful. Ridge is pretty clearly a company that puts marketing as its #1 priority over design (considering how little the wallet has changed since the original, and how expensive it is compared to identical options from other brands), so they probably felt like they had to do something different than other brands which lead to their awful solution. If you want a similar type of wallet that is much better designed check out the Fantom M Magsafe wallet (it's the bamboo one in the middle at @0:03)
Hi, so only the love handle would be able to be propped up on a squat rack or other gym machinery? I want a magsafe wallet but also one that I don't have to put my phone on the floor during my sets. thank you in advance
Hey, can you please test the Journey Loc8 wallet? You might change your opinion about the geo wallet being #1 (or maybe not). Loc8 wallet also has Apple's find my, 6 months battery, rfid protection and a money clip. Please, review it.
I just got my journey loc8 not the money clip version and I really like it I also have the ear geo wallet there are pros and cons with both unfortunately I’m still hoping I can find the perfect MagSafe wallet
I agree with Loc8 being better than ESR Geo wallet. Not only the battery of find my is double on loc8 (6 months), it has an inner pocket for 2 more cards while esr has none. Also, there is a version with clip stand inside for cash on loc8. And the best thing is having rfid protection. I just wished it had an outer pocket without rfid as well to be able to use any one card without always taking it out like (cache 3.0).
Need up ordering the ESR but I’m wondering , What kind of charging cable does this wallet use ? I can't find the cable itself anywhere ??? Just in case i ever lose this cable that charges the wallet battery for find my and need to get another one ?? I don’t see any ESR listing for it ?
You missed the one that allows you to keep the wallet on and still use wireless charging! WSKEN for iPhone 16 Pro/16 Pro Max Wallet Case with Stand-RFID 2 Card Holder Slot Hidden Kickstand
The ESR Geo wallet is good but the quality of the material is not. The stand might last for 4-6 months before breaking and the slot for your finger will die after 2 months of very careful use. The company sent me a replacement based on my review but I don't see a difference to the first defective product. It is an awesome idea but the materials used are inferior.
Journey loc8 is a much better wallet in my opinion the quality is superb but it doesn’t have a finger grip which I can live without on my journey wallet.
some reviews say that the iPhone 16 MagSafe magnets on its own are weaker than that of the 15's. The review phone in this video is using the 15 model no camera button?
Great video. I’m curious, can any of these connect to mag safe car phone holder? Taking wallet off to put on holder is just a risk I lose or forget wallet in car.
The ESR find my wallet little loop stretches out so it comes off the button. I tried a crew things to make it stay, rubberband almost worked. I emailed ESR and they were absolutely unhelpful. Any ideas? I'm about to the point I'm going to cut around the metal button and tab.
I was really interested in the Spigen wallet with the orange ring as i like to attach my phone to my holder in car. BUT when i went to Amazon to purchase it there were so many photos of the magnetic ring falling off or detaching or the orange colour peeling off and even the wallet itself fraying 😢 it totally out me off buying it at that point. Im thinking i will now go the ESR with Find My yes it wont do what i want it to do ie: stick to my car holder but otherwise its a great wallet with True Live Find my and a beeper should i misplace my wallet at home or in my car etc 😊 Thanks for your video and making up my mind 😊

I honestly had a horrible time with the ESR wallet. My finger grip slot broke within weeks of using it. The plastic slider did not hold up and I would not recommend this wallet. I also found that the magnet was strong enough to deactivate the mag strip on my card which I have not experienced previously. Very disappointed with this recommendation for a second year in a row.
The ESR's thickness and me not needing a finger loop made me wonder about the journey. Weak magnets is a no-go for a wallet though. I'm using the Spigen Valentinus but the ugly orange ring and lack of stand makes me wonder about the geo
Magnet are not bad at all if you use a case with strong magnets then this wallet will work well and adhere even better to a strong MagSafe case. Just my opinion

The strap on that esr geo is junk. There is a little plastic ring in the strap that breaks within a month. My first one broke, esr replaced it under warranty, and the replacement broke within 2 week. kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
I have a magsafe carmount, could you do a video focused on wallets that stick to magsafe stands with the wallet still attached?
One downside to the ESR wallet is the plastic oval at the bottom where it holds the grip tends to break/crack over time/use.
This happened twice to me and after the second time I went back to the pop socket wallet.
