    I wish y’all making these videos would show opening up the box and installing the chisel part. Mine will not stay in the hole. Do not know if I am missing pieces

      I was doing it correctly.. I thought there was too much play in the chisel, however, after turning on the air compressor and getting the psi up, I got my question answered. Ha

    Best 100.00 I ever spent. I just removed more linoleum in 20 minutes than I've been able to do in the last 2 days with a Sawzall and scraper blade. This is an amazing product

    Thanks for posting, 100$ well spent. Saved me alot of time. I was able to run it with a 10 gallon, 4.5 cfm @ 90 psi. I just needed to take breaks to let my compressor rest.

    We bought this after watching this video. We went from square inches in hours, to square feet in seconds. This thing is amazing. Legit. I would have paid double the asking price. Worth it.

    I've noticed a marked increase in my pneumatic tool performance by using a larger diameter hose and fittings. I forget which size I use now, but it's available at HF. Soooo much better.

    Make sure you add compressor oil hourly. It goes in the top where the air hose connects. If you don’t it will break after a few hours. Also you’ll notice it hits harder when you add oil, trust me, I found the hard way.

    Imaging if you had a compressor that delivered 10 scfm or a non coiled hose that didn't restrict air flow. . I find the 7 scfm BelAire compressor to be almost adequate. That has a smaller motor 115v but the pump of a 60 gallon 230v

    Is there an air adjustment on the tool

  • @mangravy2000
    @mangravy2000 6 лет назад +8

    10 CFM @ 90 PSI required and your supplying 4.2 @ 90 PSI so less than half. Might be insanely fast at full power.

  • @justadude247
    @justadude247 6 лет назад

    What sized air compressor did you use? The manual said it needed 10scfm @ 90psi? That's huge.

    This kind of thin set will come up easy with a good scraper. As you can see, a lot of it did not adhere to the floor. I find that white thin set comes up the easiest. Try doing a 80 year old floor and the thin set is hard as a damn rock. I spent a whole weekend scraping and Jack hammering that stuff and still couldn't get it off. I had cuts all over myself from Jack hammering the tile. My hands swelled up. In the end, we had to float over it and lay tile because it was too hard.

    I realized that your floor is concrete. Do you think that machine can be used on plywood floors? I have to change some tiles of upper floors but as you know, wood homes = only basement is concrete while upper floors are woods.

    • @qzetu
      @qzetu 5 лет назад

      The tile should be sitting on a concrete board. Tear up both and relay down the concrete board, then lay back down tile. If it's in the bathroom you want to water proof the floor.

    • @callmebigpapa

      I doubt it would work without damaging the floor, I think there are better options like chems, diamond sanding or encapsulating with epoxy if you end goal is a finished floor! Good luck!

      @@robartino9687 you gotta soak up that ceiling with hot water and dawn dish soap, it might take a few coats before it works in but it'll make the job easy and fast. You also won't damage the drywall as much because the texture will just peel off if you give it enough coats

      @@callmebigpapa Damn, $125/hr, I am charging way too low then. I just bought mine because i'm doing an entire house and started with a small chisel and rotary hammer kit, but it was slow going to say the least. Paid $95 at HF after 20% off and it's working great. The only thing is, it requires a bigger capacity air compressor because of the air volume it uses, but so far, my 11gal 3.5hp compressor is doing fine. I'm adding an 11gal air tank to my comp. to see if that helps a bunch.
