That Alien Skin preset though makes a huge difference; would you be kind enough to share more about it even if you don't feel able to share the settings? I'm guessing some contrast? Desaturation? Brightness boost? Colour adjustment?
Thanks! Yeah people have said that before. I flatten as I go when I'm ready to commit - it also means I don't have to keep going back and making endless decisions. When I have a lot of work to retouch I just need to get through it :-)
