Adams and Kenna have also been my principal inspirations as I begin to explore B&W minimalist landscape photography. I’m very happy to have discovered Koentjoro’s fine monochromatic work and look forward to studying more of his photographs … thanks. 📷🙂
"Black and white straight goes to the soul." An obviously subjective feeling and meant to refer to his own soul and spiritual ideas. Lovely pictures. Color can be distracting, which therefore presents a challenge.
@@Joel_Ulises - I'm glad you read the comments. When I suggested this photographer, I got a video that was saved and I have it whenever I want. Thank you for that.

"challenge himeself" by shooting color?? That's a funny way to put it. I'm sure he shoots b&w because it is better for him. It's too easy to make good color photos (I'm not saying that many people Do make great color photos, they don't). Color photos are usually more superficial really, which is why most people do that. And usually (to me) if a photo in color is a great photo, it would be even better in b&w.... because if it's great, it's not the color that's making it great.
Totally agree! 😊 Watching the work of the great masters is how we learn! 📚 But we also need to get out into the world and practice. Have a great day! 🌟

Great video Joel . Hengki is an excellent photographer . No one asked me , but , I'd love to see him challenge himself and shoot a bit in color .
Hi Elizabeth! Perhaps over time, Hengki Koentjoro will work with color, but you never know. 😊 Sending greetings and wishing you an excellent day!
