Winter's Come To Call Broken wings Lying frozen in the dark Poisoned by the wicked words You spoke to me so carelessly Sweet embrace turned bitter By your sudden greed Daring me to speak and shatter All that we have come to be Is this what’s to come, dear seer? Shed to me your light Desperate words and vicious lies Designed to cover up your pride Do you see the fear in my eyes? Has our winter come to call? I shake the chains that bind me I won’t be broken down This crimson cage is crumbling To the ground I feel a storm is gaining Is this the end that’s nearing? Your craven eyes won’t tame me Anymore Tell me now Are you happy, are you proud Of bleeding me through not too long forgotten Scars of secret shame? The angel of my dreams Is the demon in my sheets Testing me and taunting me Forever in my memory You play a dangerous game Are you ready for the cold? Just say goodnight Dream that all is still alright I won’t be waiting in the morning I’m done The fire’s burning The damage done Snow falling on the ashes Bringing to me new life Starlight surrounding Keeping me alive I stare into the void I revel in the dark With nothing more to give This life is mine to live!
Heather gets up in the morning and tries to decide whether to gargle with honey or Drano. Then she decides on a little of both. Saw them last night in Austin with Night Demon and Anvil. Great show!
Heather is a really nice gal. She was at the T Shirt table when I saw them in Austin a while back. She and the band signed a CD for me and I bought a T Shirt. I love seeing bands on their way up when they really appreciate having fans and before the arrogance sets in. I suppose the distance bands put between themselves and the public is an understandable consequence of popularity. See and support up and comers when it is the most fun (and affordable!)
I like this album so much. Fading the top one.
this is a great album!
Excited to see them live with Arkona in May!
California here we go, amazing band
Winter's Come To Call
Broken wings
Lying frozen in the dark
Poisoned by the wicked words
You spoke to me so carelessly
Sweet embrace turned bitter
By your sudden greed
Daring me to speak and shatter
All that we have come to be
Is this what’s to come, dear seer?
Shed to me your light
Desperate words and vicious lies
Designed to cover up your pride
Do you see the fear in my eyes?
Has our winter come to call?
I shake the chains that bind me
I won’t be broken down
This crimson cage is crumbling
To the ground
I feel a storm is gaining
Is this the end that’s nearing?
Your craven eyes won’t tame me
Anymore
Tell me now
Are you happy, are you proud
Of bleeding me through not too long forgotten
Scars of secret shame?
The angel of my dreams
Is the demon in my sheets
Testing me and taunting me
Forever in my memory
You play a dangerous game
Are you ready for the cold?
Just say goodnight
Dream that all is still alright
I won’t be waiting in the morning
I’m done
The fire’s burning
The damage done
Snow falling on the ashes
Bringing to me new life
Starlight surrounding
Keeping me alive
I stare into the void
I revel in the dark
With nothing more to give
This life is mine to live!

Saw them last night in Austin with Night Demon and Anvil. Great show!
I thought it odd that all the keyboard parts in their live performance were pre-recorded. why are so many bands doing this?

3 degrees of separation
That first ruff sounds like a slower version of the power rangers riff.
