Incredible demo. This is the best sounding demonstration of any modulation pedal I have ever heard. I just bought this. Andy, your old videos have been costing me a lot of money lately lol.
I’m glad I didn’t sell my Small Stone after all. I’ve had Grand Orbiter for a year and sold it recently. I appreciate the amonut of control on the phaser but I never could get such a sweet spot out of it that I get with 1-knob phasers. Small Stone sends me instantly to 60/70s psychedelia whereas with Grand Orbiter I felt nothing. Like it sounded too clear. I’m trying now Jam Pedals The Ripple phaser, see if it’s any good.
Everybody knows how hard Andy rocks but about the pedal... it sounds so great!!! Loved the whole video. But that lead and 5:55 blew my f*cking mind!!! What a riff and what a tone. Truly great
I nearly lost it laughing when Andy said "fabulous Akron, Ohio". Obviously he's never been there... Really not a fabulous city by any means. But hell. The pedals sure sound great and this one is making me more tempted to make my first Earthquaker devices pedal purchase. And to support a local business (for me at least)!!
Frampton ! One of the greatest melodic players out there .. How many of you always thought that Frampton was a joke ???? Maybe now you’ll understand how great of a player he is !
I have this pedal,The Depths vibe, and The Sea Machine Between these three, there's not many modulation tones I can't reach. I like that they're made in Akron Ohio, they cost just under $200, they easily fit my pedal board, and they sound crazy good, from mild to wild.
Fred Garvin I read a few of your comments while watching phaser's review. I never was a phaser guy when I was younger and I'm thinking about buying my first phaser pedal. It seems like you know a lot of things about it. I like the Grand Orbiter and the Astrospurt from KMA machines. Do you know the KMA ? What do you think ? Should I go with this one, or the KMA ?
This phaser sounds great. It's not as warm as the MXR but in a way that's good. The original guitar sound without the phaser and with it on maintains the same sound which is good a lot of times.
MXR isn't known for it's great buffers or bypass. This can be a problem in particular when combined with certain drive and clipping circuits. Great on their own, NSG at " playing with others"
Anyone know which song he's playing in the vibrato bit at 3:42? And wouldn't it be just great if Andy and the gang would list in the description the songs played in each demo, if available?
Yeah but only during parts of the song, such as the "Slow down, Hold down; Hold me, Roll me" section, you can hear the phaser on the big, ringing chords in the background. And I believe it's also at the end of the extended slide solo on the long version of the song. May be on some vocal parts, too. But I'm pretty sure it's not on the main slide parts if that's what you're saying

man, when he turns on the Dirt Transmitter, wow!
I read this comment right as it happened and jumped right back up to the video. About crapped my pants.
I had to buy this based on that beefy boost alone, I also ordered the Acapulco Gold which is on preorder, those 2 together will be crazy.
That sounded so intense
love the rose royce shout out with the carwash riff
The vibrato mode sounds so gorgeous, I might buy it to replace my Small Stone and have 2 effects in one
That’s exactly what I did

Oooh, I want to hear Grand Orbiter Phaser plus Dispatch Master echo/reverb!
- That would be sick!

Same for me ! The riff and the sound are awesome !
He actually sold me two pedals at once with this... Wtf???
I'll give you money!!! one of the greatest phase songs!
Peter Frampton "I'll Give You Money", perfect & awesome demo example!
Sounds way thicker than my classic Small Stone.. I want one now.
Frampton's "I'll Give You Money"..........Brilliant choice!
Funny thing is though Frampton never used a phaser. He used a real Leslie cab and amp in parallel.
No matters what, he always chooses the best songs to make a demo!!
The folks in Akron are geniuses, thank you Andy for spotlighting the brilliance.. The resonant swirl with the fuzz was sick!
great sounding phaser! makes me want to trade mine for this!
Tone man, Andy has got it.
God bless your right hand .
Best riffs by Andy that I've seen so far! Dude jams, no doubt, but this video was great. Great sounding pedal, and great playing!

Well Devo came from Akron so they must be doing something right

This channel is AWESOME! \m/!
Dat ending sounded awesome!
awesome demo as always Andy!
Staple unit of my pedalboard. IMO there is no other unit smoother...
Thank you EQD, and Andy....the dude who could sell snake oil to this hack...😎🤘

Does it do slow deep sweeps?
Another great demo.

Just Skip to 5:53 and wait for it! Killer!
Absolutely killer....sold
Sold. Grand Orbiter AND Dirt Transmitter.
Watery Phases hey?? Guess you'd had to get to the CARWASH hahaha!

Would love to hear this pedal used on Led Zeppelin's "Nobody's Fault But Mine"
Isn't that a flanger?

Perhaps copyright issues prevent it.
5:56 song???
“I’ll give you money, ev’rything”
That's the Phaser I always needed ! (Sorry mom) ;-p
dope! keep the vids comin
Lightbulb just went off in my head and I just realized this type of effect was used on Foghat's "Slow Ride". Am I right?

It's pretty cool but I don't know if I would say it's $200 cool.
3:00 . . . from the 1976 motion picture "Car Wash"
Thanks! Couldn't place it!
Albert Madariaga My pleasure!!
what was that first song he plays in the beginning? I can't remember for the life of me
Peter Frampton's "I'll Give You Money"
Which phaser would you recommend? This or the small stone?
Thanks
THA MOTHAFUCKIN CARWASH
Very nice but my Hartman is just so damn good!
andy reminds me of an atistic screecher!!
What was the vibrato song?
Want. It.
Give back single Andy behind the camera!
What was the last song????
I normally don't ask but does anyone know what's the last song played? Sounds really familiar...
Was it Muse?
AudioAtmos don't think it is. Well, at least I don't recognize it.
Andy original.
Just a riff of his own i'd say
Sounds like made of stone by the stone roses
Song at 5 30?
I've been wondering the same thing!
I don't know the first song but the style sounds darn familiar, can anyone help me out?
