One thing I learned about the build camera is that while in that mode, weather effects no longer degrade your hazard protection. You can use that to wait out extreme storms if you need to, or if building on an extreme planet.

Furthermore you would be hard pressed to find one single game out there with everything NMS has going on. Look at elite dangerous. Great for space flight but no on foot gameplay. Star citizen trying to do everything and still just a tech demo all these years later. As much as I would like a full space game with great combat, on foot exploration, space flight, etc. I just don't think it's possible without a decade of development and more money then they could possibly make back. This is an older video and this might already be known but like the spaceship in the portal, you can take a roamer or even colossus through a short range teleporter. I built my base on a plateau and used a teleporter to get to ground level and back and discovered the vehicles can go through it.
I just started playing again just discovered build cam last week saves so much time and you can activate it inside your base and build outside with out using hazard protection or oxygen plus the storm fog won't render so you can still see while you build
Farming nanites by collecting alien's eggs in airless planets is prretty fun!. That's how I upgraded my fighter starship's class from A to S :) Nice video!.
I recommend going to the nexus and getting one of those missions which requires you to kill alien monstruosities, going to the abandoned place and digging a small trench under the egg clusters, then collecting them from below. If your trench is thin enough, (and it can be like 6-9 units wide, or about 2-3 meters) the aliens won’t be able to get you, and you can harvest all the eggs undisturbed. This is how I got all my nanites in permadeath as soon as I started.

They really keep making this game better and better. I wouldn't say it's the game they promised, per se (they made a lot of promises), but it's a game worth buying now. While no game is for everyone, NMS is definitely a fun, albeit slowly-paced, space exploration sim. I hope they keep up the momentum and expand the game more. Not just because more free content is nice, but because it shows they're dedicated to making up for their mistakes at launch and the better the game gets, the less that can be used as ammo against them should they ever decide to make another ambitious game or when/if they decide to charge for DLC/expansion content. Don't get me wrong, I'm still bitter about how the game was at launch, but I feel like (for me) it has balanced out quite nicely. $30 is still kinda asking a bit much, but every time there's a big update with cool new stuff (like the recent addition of mechs) I feel like the cost gets closer and closer to being just right.

So, your base is pretty high. I was building a sky base that wasn't quite that high, but when I came back to my base, everything was gone, but it still showed my base stuck in the sky with no way to even delete the old computer up there and just stick to a little lower. Know of any work around?
@@bcav712 You could still do it, but you always have a chance of despawn, especially with updates. I recommend a channel called Beeblebum, he informed me about certain glitches, like in space type bases.
Salvage data is so easy to get, no need to go through all that trouble just for nutrient processor. Can gather 100+ in an hour or less on planets that yield 4 per buried module. Also Pugneum refines into nanites. For money stick oxygen and ionised cobalt into refiner and then unrefine the ionised cobalt you get, fill inventory, then jump around crashing station markets and buying back your 'hard earned' cobalt.
The method you gave for the cooking processor is teh same I used to build a survey device lol. The materials required to build it are not so common and I was lazy to go look for them. One day for some reason I started a survey mission from the nexus and when it was time to use the device the game just fave me all the materials required to build it.
Here's something. Build bases wisely. Cover your basic needs first. Then focus on making butt loads of money. Then, when you hit it, cut back on a couple of those money makers to build your dream base. And what is "it" exactly. Well let me tell you. You can build what seems to be an unlimited number of bases, maybe not, but you have a limit on base parts shared between them all. That means you're limited to what you can build. So build things to make life easier, not prettier, and you'll do fine.

They all give an error saying it needs oxygenation (when the hell did solar power need oxygenation? Same for electromagnetic). There's another weird thing that you can do when being in space without a space shit. If you didn't already know that if you get a freighter and have some of the small ships around it you can actually land on some of those small ships and fix them up, but what I found out is that you can actually jump off of them, free fall for until you hit a planet or for forever fall through space. How did you get the unlimited building parts? I see in the bottom right you don't have the materials needed, but it says unlimited parts can be placed, how do I do this?
Just as an FYI my dude, but you don't need the Conflict Scanner to find abandoned Space Stations, just an Economy Scanner - any Red/Green/Blue star system with a 1-star economy rating is guaranteed to have an abandoned Space Station.
Another fun fact about them, you will still get a "Wanted" level from the Sentinels by shooting said abandoned Space Station.
Hey have you noticed that jetpack colour upgrades are available in the Nexus ?
Your channel is so helpful ! thanks!
I found one of these living rocks trying to get some ferrite dust for some bs.. jumped right out of the ground and scared the living crap out of me. I even dreamed about it.. not cool!
The ship through portal is awesome....I had no idea.
You say cooking a lot of cocaine. So if you can believe it, i thought you were processing cocaine in NMS.
you can actually use heplatoid wheat instead of frost crystal
does the space building thing still work?
The rocks with legs might be a reference to the movie apollo 18, a space movie were they explore the moon but it turns out the rocks are aliens.
How can you use the jetpack to go horizontally with an Xbox controller?
Khraze thanks for the tips. But how do you fall so far without taking health or shield damage?
Watched a few of your vids now. Good stuff so you got a sub.
dude I just saw your older video where you spoil the ending etc, can I ask, did you apologise for that? Or did you not think it was shitty?
Who cares
@@generalgk well obviously, me. Went into a video that had 0 reason to spoil the end lmao, it's like he put it in there on purpose. I think it was like a guide on money-making or something and he just blurts it out, seemed odd.
Can someone please let me know if building your base "in space" is still possible? Because when i was trying to go to space i wasnt able to continue due to my life support drastically going down. Is there a way to still build it in space?
How do you do this sprint jumping i have no idea how that works
I gotta Start over! I’ve been trying to play the same way as I did from day 1 but EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT now!
cool vid man and thanks for the tips!
how long does the bread infinit jet pack thing last for?
6:19 throw back Thursday memories
Dont think the space base works anymore. Not only could I not get as much height, it seems to have glitched out. Cant see anything I built anymore.
Oooooh cooking processors, (aka cooking grill lol) here I come! Many thank. 🤤👍
This video is really useful. 😁
Wait, that stew item only gives you infinite sprint for 10 seconds? I can already sprint for 10 seconds without it, and I don't have any upgrades, so all it does is add a flat 10 seconds to your sprint time? I mean i guess you could technically keep eating them for infinite sprinting, but you would have to keep going in the menu every 9 seconds, no?
Most helpful. Thank you
I found and claimed a ship. (Second ship) Left to go gather materials to get it going i forgot which planet it was on is there a way to locate it?
9:44 is the the base auto power a new option or a mod
Creative.
I didn’t know people could give you stuff in the Nexus. I was walking around and a Good Samaritan gave me 999 activated Indium and 999 activated Cadmium! Maybe not much in the endgame, but super helpful early on
What really gets me is the build camera; It says it right there on your screen while you're in build mode. Pay attention to your HUD, people!!!
can you size down the stabilized glitches?
How can I put more than 500 units of anything in the food processor? You can put more than 100o units, how can I "upgrade" that?
