I wish there were more people (like yourself) with traditional locs that weren’t afraid to give interlocking a chance. I have personally enjoyed the freedom it gives and I only do it 4x per year. If I have an occasion I’ll just throw in a retwist. Interlocking works for my hair and lifestyle...Thanks for sharing, your hair looks full and healthy!
Girrrllllll I did the same damn thing at my 5 month mark. My roots were not locking and I keep thinking its me 🤣. Thanks for this I guess I'm not alone 🧡🧡
I have smaller locs and if it wasn't for interlocking I would NOT have locs...well, maybe freeform. I had a set before this one and retwisting was miserable 😖 the clips, the products, the build up, the drying time...just miserable. Interlocking is my best friend, I have my metal yarn needle and go to town. I enjoy it actually, it's one of my forms of self care. Many blessings to you 🌷🌻
Do you think oiling your scalp consistently kept your roots from locing? They way that visualize it is how noodles stick together after they’re cooked then if you add oil to them the lubrication prevents them from sticking. 🧐
That’s my issue I interlocked some of my locs that had a lot of new growth like yours and they looked very thin compared to my medium thick locs… do they eventually get thicker?
Mmm I think I waited until maybe like 2 or 3 rd wash post interlock. My scalp can be sensitive at times so I didn’t want to put too much tension on it.

Thank you so much love!! I’m so happy with the results and I agree, people are definitely afraid but I’m glad I did research and followed through.
@@ImsimplyLC ABSOLUTELY! RESEARCH IS KEY! I liked that you also talked to a PROFESSIONAL!

Great question… I’m new to locs and have consistently oiled my scalp… maybe I’ll stop.
Definitely
I interlock too and I do not regret it. When I was retwist of and palm rolling the base wasn’t locking as well as it does from interlocking
Yesss team interlocking! Agreed, no regrets
Great job! I love interlocking my roots.
Thank you!! ☺️☺️ and thanks for recommending it in a some of my older videos

That look real good an you do to.
Thank u...I have the same issue
When you washed your hair after interlocking, did you do any retwisting at the roots?
