- The time has finally come! lol. gonna be exploring up where the withlacoochee meets the Suwannee and the Alapaha as well, a bit in early april! I'm doing research and am familiar with that stretch of river, often hunt other fossils and crystals.. any recommendations for a first time coral scouting?
What type of acid do you use? How many parts and how long?
Oxalic acid. One cup of powder to 5 gallons of water. Soak for 2 days, then pressure wash pieces real good, then soak in 5 gallons water with 1 cup of baking soda for 1 day, then pressure wash final time
