  • The time has finally come! lol. I finally finished cleaning all of my finds up from the river up in north florida! check out these awesome agatized coral pieces I found. some of these will make it on to my page on facebook (Florida Agatized Coral Connection) where you can purchase them for your own personal collection!     gonna be exploring up where the withlacoochee meets the Suwannee and the Alapaha as well, a bit in early april! I'm doing research and am familiar with that stretch of river, often hunt other fossils and crystals.. any recommendations for a first time coral scouting?

    What type of acid do you use? How many parts and how long?

      Oxalic acid. One cup of powder to 5 gallons of water. Soak for 2 days, then pressure wash pieces real good, then soak in 5 gallons water with 1 cup of baking soda for 1 day, then pressure wash final time
