this is so great .... thank you so much ... I love almost every beatles song but my only least favourite is What Goes on. I dont get it !!! Rain, Paperback Writer, Day Tripper or We can work it out should have replaced it !!!
Interesting list, definitely far from my list, but that's what makes the Beatles so universal. Your number one is near the bottom of my list, haha. Real Love is so good, and that video is a tearjerker.
I LOVE the whole HELP! album! One of my favourite albums. And Your Bird Can Sing is brilliant as well. Very interesting selection for your #1 pick!!!! I don't think I could pick only ten songs. LOL For me - at the moment - Here, There and Everywhere is #1 for me. But it changes... I just love the harmonies, arrangement, and lyrics on that song. Still sends chills up my spine. For No One and Eleanor Rigby are up there too. Great video!
I'm sure some of my 10 would change. Not #1 though. Always has been since the first time I heard it. I gravitate to the later Beatles stuff. Could you tell?
Hi Rob. What a monumental task to figure out a top 10 for the Beatles. Excellent detail for each song for why it’s top tier. And your bird can sing is definitely one of my favorites on Revolver.
I love And Your Bird Can Sing - that dual lead guitar is just awesome! My list would have to include A Day In The Life, Ticket To Ride, Strawberry Fields Forever, and a few less obvious ones: She Said, She Said and Hey Bulldog. Honestly though, I think my top ten would have to include at least 25 songs! Nice to hear your in depth thoughts on these songs.
@@ArturoGofunkez those are great picks. Everyone of those except She Said She Said was in my top 10 at one point through the week before I settled on the final list.
My top 10 (in no particular order) 1. Tell me why 2. Yesterday 3. Like Dreamers do 4. Happiness is a Warm Gun 5. Octopus's Garden 6. Nowhere Man 7. Here, there and Everywhere 8. I am the Walrus 9. Rain 10. (a tie between) I Feel Fine, and Let it Be.
Hey Rob! Great list, although it's all wrong hahaha. Some very interesting picks here! I really enjoyed the pieces of trivia you threw in here as well for each song. You've got me thinking about what my list would be. It's no small task though, going through the Beatles discography and choosing my favourites. Maybe some day I'll release my response. Great work buddy!
So I get from this video is that you're a lennon fan upmost..all songs you listed are mainly.johns..there is a guy called Paul mccartney who wrote outstanding contributions to the Beatles that deserve a spot on anyone's top 10.pepper for example was Paul's idea all of it..
@@bobf.5538 yes Im a Lennon guy for sure. I love a lot of Paul’s songs. I made my list purely on the basis of the song itself. Who wrote it carried no weight. I wasnt making sure everyone was represented. Its a true list of which songs I like best.

I love the double lead guitar on Day Tripper. Also love, And Your Bird Can Sing, especially the alternate version on Anthology 2.
Such a fun take.....
