Correct, for this to work everyone needs to use it, since it is a proprietary network unlike e-transfer. It looks like wealthsimple plans to just throw money at everyone to encourage sign ups
I am sick and tired of your ads. I don't know who is managing them but seriously it is so annoying to watch them 20 times a day specially the one with the girl talking about WS trade for student loan. For the love of god please stop it. I am sick and tired of your brand. If there was a chance to use your product in my life these ads removed that chance. It is working against your plan.

To receive the money people need to create a Cash account. What if I'm sending money to someone who just want to deposit the money in his bank account without using cash?
Those are features promised for Cash accounts along with a Cash Card. Theyβre too busy working on the app and marketing to focus on the features. Donβt get me wrong, great ads... just kind of useless for now.

You cant use wealthsimple cash to buy or pay for anything. You have to transfer the money out. I dont understand hold up on this feature. People trust company cant be the iasue.

What's the difference between that and my free e-transfers with Tangerine? No security questions? THAT'S IT??? Legit asking because I have TFSA's with you so I'm not ripping on you, I'm just unclear what the ACTUAL benefit is.
Itβs way cuter, free to use and there are no account minimums. Youβll be able to find friends instantly, without having to search for their email or think up a clever security question. And itβs also just a super fun way to send and request cash instantly.
@@wealthsimple Well those are not really benefits lol if you add features that everybody is waiting for (direct deposits, paying bills, transfer to Invest and Trade accounts, interac transfers AND the card) WS cash would be really interesting, as it is now its really just useless lol

At the time of replying, Wealthsimple response for lacking crucial (and promised) features was that their application is cuter.
Thatβs not a feature, itβs designβ¦ they over promised and underdelivered.

My point remains that we can praise certain aspects of a business and still criticize others.

this is great and all but dose not change the fact that this isnt cashapp or venmo here in Canada. it would be easier to send a E-Transfer then having to do all this.
