The 1.5 is worth the extra bucks any day if you really want to feel the power. Besides the engine is more refined, it makes less noise and gives more milege. If most of your drive is highway then it's definitely worth considering. In general Kushaq is safe and fun to drive car. You can feel the control. I personally choose 1.5 manual because i don't want to feel that the engine is getting underpowered as it gets old.
Would like to ask you since you own it already I am confused between taking 1ltr manual top end and 1.5 ltr manual ambition. I will lose few features like ventilated seats and sunroof but taking 1.5 wud be worth that way or shud I go with fully loaded 1ltr M

I wonder if anyone else noticed the thrumm from the front suspension especially, when the car went over small but sharp undulation. I noticed this on the test drive vehicle. As if nothing existed between the cabin and the suspension.
I own one and have experienced the same thing. Although I have driven it up & down a very bumpy road, full of deep potholes few days every week.Haven’t taken it for a long drive yet to come to a conclusion. The driver side window is not functioning properly right from day 1.

No reviews of driving up a long hill trip with big load in the car. Been searching for it for a while. Nothing. I need to know if 1.0 is going to make me change to 2nd gear many times, or I can drive on 3rd with no problem
I swear, it’s such a pain to drive on the highways now with such messed up limits, on NH come on they could easily give us 120 limit. As far a as people and animals jumping on the roads, hiding between the plants on the divider goes, they should have that sorted and not the drivers
I was driving kushaq from Har8dwar to delhi. 2000 ka chalan kat gaya. My speed was 101 amd road limit was 80. Its really diffucult to drive in highways

They have fixed the epc issue in the current batches and the cars from older batches are getting it replaced . I have kushaq and we are now recieving mails to replace the fuel pumps asap
@sunny actually I have a 1.0 litre tsi style variant of kushaq and and the car is perfect according to me . Far better tha the competition for even the dips in indian roads and the engine is mind-blowing . Though I had a 1.5l ecosport earlier, I didn't felt much of a drastic change but still I found it slight better in the way it handles the dips of Indian roads , driving dynamics , engine performance etc . Plus the premium interior , stylish exterior ( the best in the segment imo ) and no nonsense approach with all the features an individual would ever use .the car was perfect for my family . The only thing I didn't like was the rear width was a little less than creta and seltos but since we are a four people family, we decided to buy kushaq . ( Note - the seat comfort is miles better than creta and seltos no matter rear seats or front )
@sunny no bro it's completely wrong . The performance is great no matter there are 1 person or 4 . Indeed it's a 1l engine indeed but its a tsi engine . 1l tsi is equal to the 1.5 l naturally aspirated engine even I would say more stronger and punchy

But if I choose the 1l I’ll get the Taigun, or the 1.5l Skoda manual.
Plus the DSG reliability is questionable at best.. Conventional automatic is much better for Indian conditions.
