The simple kitchen at 2:27 brings back so many memories! I remember being absolutely horrified of this level as a kid, and just cheesing the entire level by jumping on top of the fridge. This must have been a common thing, because I’ve seen copies that even block off the fridge, preventing the player from going on top haha
I think it is universally accepted that Crimsonfang is the king of LBP Horror. I just wish I can play his levels again... Also Fun Fact: If you hop the broken platform in the 2nd Jeff level, the platform will break and a Trollface will appear briefly after staying on it for a few seconds. I just loved when the creators hid secrets in their levels.
I still remember spending hours trying to beat this dude's 100 jumps level. The music sequencer version of Scary Monster and Nice Sprites is still ingraved into my memory lmao.
If I could remember, before the Jeff The Killer level, there a one with a very similar layout but was called "Max Murderer" on LBP2. Everything was pretty much sackboy-sized, and I believe there was a pumpkin patch in the front yard and a secret room to the far left of the house too. I used to play with the 'emo' roleplay costume-maker girlies, who played that level a lot, just to decorate the house with a murderer on the loose My heart yearns to find that level again. It was pretty popular for a few weeks
An LBP horror game I look fondly back on was called the “Prison of Doom” I believe. My friend put me on it back in the LBP2 days and I’ve always had a blast playing through it ever since. Although the last time I played it (on LBP3) one of the game sequences seemed to constantly break about halfway in the game which would lead to the player(s) getting soft-locked. Which sucks because I think most, if not all players should get the chance to play it. It really could be its own game from a narrative viewpoint. But that’s not to say that the game design wasn’t good either.
I know not really a horror level. But ‘welcome home’ was quite scary for me when I was little, the ghoul under the floorboards in the house. Which from my memory had to be unlocked by grabbing a totem pole??? Anyone else remember it ?
A story about the Jeff The Killer level. When the level released the day before Thanksgiving, it was indeed called BEWARE OF JEFF THE KILLER. The reason why it's no longer called that is because in late 2013, the level was deleted. In early 2014 it was reuploaded under the name JEFF THE KILLER. It was also renamed that so that it could be differentiated from the numerous other levels of the same name. The chase song is indeed an LBP original, but it was not made by crimsonfang9. It was made by someone else who we do not know the name of. The normal music is called Scary Nightmare by Csking1, the song is also an LBP original.
I’m crying it’s been 5 years since I played this game and I came across your channel after searching vinci and omg this brings back so many memories me and my friends would play this sooooo much
I remember there being a Slender level that was one of the earlier FPS LBP2 levels. Sackboy.EXE was plenty of fun to play through, didn't really freak me out as much. Dallas Hotel Room 1408 was also up there. What scared me the most as a child was playing through the MM picked Dead Space level for LBP1, I saw a squirming arm and I had to call it temporary quits on that level for a little bit.
i remember i was playing lbp2 with my sister and crimsonfang9 requested to join my pod. I guess he was pod surfing, but me and my sister were freaking out. love the dude so much
I remember going to my cousin's house all the time, he introduced me to lbp3 and the first level I remember playing is the Jeff the killer level. Good times
Idk if you know this but, if you beat the 100 jumps underworld you get a sticker that you can use in everyone of his levels and it gives u a random thing that's useful
I really like watching your videos, and about the horror levels i remember back in the day when i played jeff the killer 1 on lbp2 and i like just screamed with full voice when i saw him LOL
I cant remember their username properly, O'lantern, Jack O'Lantern? But they made some of my favorite levels, like The Hospital, The apartments, And they even had a camping series, all of their levels had stories, and were super well made!
Ah man, the Tails Doll. There is no creepy pasta that's scared my siblings and I more than the Tails Doll did. We even had a stuffed teddy bear that one of us named the Tails Doll. We put that thing in the closet and became terrified of it too.
One of my favorites back in the day was like one about Eyeless Jack. Really a nostalgic video like I remember never completed any of the horror levels but with my lbp friends we played and maybe roleplay the scenes, what a fun we had back in that time.
If you were to do another one of these I have a suggestion… but I forget the name of it :/ I think the level had a lantern or a light as it’s thumbnail, something like that. The level starts in a dark hotel room or Something with a bright staticky tv. At some point a door opens to the right and you can advance onward. The only two things I remember going forward is a hallway that has a ghost that kinda teleports around. And the end, where you make it outside and end up in a convenience store / gas station store. Where the cashier turns evil and kills you because of monster energy drink or something idk. If anyone knows what I’m talking about let me know. Because I can’t remember what it was and it would be cool to see on the channel
My personal most favorite horror creator absolutely has to be ninja-r, hopefully I got his username correctly. There was also a Japanese lbp 2 creator who made an absolute banger of a horror level. I don't remember it's name or the username of the creator, but it was in black and white, and it had a strong Japanese horror movie vibe.
Bro tails doll was the scariest shit to me when I was a little kid. “Can you feel the sunshine” had me terrified, hell, hearing anything sonic R related made me lose my sanity because of all the 3 AM and creepy pastas about that game there were on the internet lmao
There was another creator that made really good horror levels. They were very Japanese horror-inspired. I remember one of theirs was like a point-and-click horror game.
I remember those levels too and I remember playing one of those levels where I had to hide under some stairs from some creepy girl crawling down the stairs
One time i dived in to a Jeff The Killer level without knowledge that LBP3 had horror. Everyone else had the scared emotion, but I was just dancing around in a goddamn Marlon Random costume.

sad that i missed out on LBPs prime because i didn't ever play online then, i didn't really know you could, i usually only played with my dad. and i dont have lbp3 yet but i cant wait to play community levels then.
Does anyone remember that creepy Japanese game where your in a house and it’s just based on like a family, but it’s so realistic and beautiful, you don’t really play as a character you point and click

i tried to make a "scary" level back in the day in LBP1 but i was nowhere near as talented as most, it ended up just being the level going dark and having scary noises and some text to try and scare people, bit something happened and the level wouldn't go dark, it was bad anyway, like really bad, the title was literally just "the darkness" i was younger at the time when i made it
I'd like to mention that Slenderman isn't a creepypasta, he originated as a series of creepy photos on the Something Awful forum similarly to the Backrooms, then was made popular by Marble Hornets. There's creepypastas written about Slenderman but Slenderman isn't a creepypasta character like Sonic.EXE. Cringeworthy creepypasta fans just often included Slenderman and Marble Hornets into what can be called the "creepypasta canon" for no reason. It makes about as much sense as including calling Michael Myers a creepypasta. Jeff the Killer is technically a creepypasta but at the same time it's so poorly written and not-scary that I don't think it should be called one, the fact that it's one of the first things people think of when they think of creepypastas is shameful. Jeff the Killer is hardly a creepypasta, it's more like a crappy fan fiction that got uploaded onto the Creepypasta Wiki. The guy who wrote the story just plagiarized the main character and Liu from another online user named Sesseur, who created them years prior.
You should make a part 2. There are so many awesome scary levels I wish I remembered the names but he made a extremely well made scary hospital level, Spoilers for the level Ig... One of the nurses had a baby but it didn't survive so she steals a baby and falls down the stairs with it.. I also believe the same author made a level with you escaping a deep dank dungeon from a scary minotaur monster. The Jeff the killer video took me back lol, everytime you went into the kitchen he used to pop out the fridge I believe
I loved the horror games in LBP3, Especially all of crimson fangs games, i used to have alot of online friends and played all day, But sadly not all happy things last forever.. thank you lbp3 ;(
