If they do make one, I hope it's not gonna be PS exclusive, or will at least come to PC at some point. I played LBP 1, 2 and 3 so much back in the day when I was a console player. It has a really special place in my heart, and I hope for a new one in the future. But I've moved on to PC and I'm not gonna spend several hundred dollars just to be able to play one game. I get that some functionality of the controller might just not be possible to port over to mouse and keyboard, but I'd be content with the game requiring a controller to play the game. A controller I could use for many PC games anyway.

The classic style God of War, Call of Duty was still cool, and of course LBP - this niche, awesome game that captivated all my friends when they'd come over. The game was truly life-changing for me, and for others as well. I'm so glad I found so many others with a shared experience. I'm still an active creator and a veteran of almost 15 years, setting on making my stories into full 90 minute movies. This game has been my outlet since I was six years old and has helped me discover my talents of art and writing. This game has changed lives. Many creators had job opportunities to work with Mm Studios, other game studios, or had other underground opportunities BECAUSE of this game. Our talents got us recognized or we grew our skills strong enough to move onto bigger and better things. Rather we were the creators or the players, we were one. We grew up together. This community, especially the veterans, are stronger than glue. Most of us are adults now and we all look back at this game as a treasured memory. It will always be as such to me.

Thank you SO MUCH for this video
I grew up being a very physically sick child that spent most of her free time indoors, and LBP was the thing I always looked forward to each day ever since I can remember.
I spent countless hours on it just making friends, playing the same 10-or-so levels over and over again and even after weeks and months of just doing that it always was just as much fun as it was the very first time around, simply because it was something I could do with friends, with people that I liked spending time with, with people that liked spending time with me.
The franchise itself shaped me massively into the person I am today and it holds a really special place in my heart, it was there for my first "relationship" and my first heartbreak about two weeks later, it was there when I couldn't sleep at night and could simply hop into other people's game to not feel as alone and anxious, I played it all the way up to my late teens to calm me down during finals, it taught me to be creative with the things I have around me and showed me that there was so much beauty and joy to be found in simple everday items
The music, the stories, the overall atmosphere it created was so utterly comforting and freeing that even to this day the soundtrack makes me feel like a kid again, huddled in blankets on a rainy day and spending my time talking to friends and playing silly levels we made together, not needing to grow up just yet.
So really, thank you for this video, because it made me sob very happy tears not even ten minutes in :')
Let's hope that someday we'll get to feel that nice, comforting feeling again. Let's not grow up entirely just yet, let's just enjoy this childish freedom a little longer.

unironically, LBP creation mode tutorials covered some of the basics of programming, explaining many simple and yet vital logic gates.
What amazes me the most is that MM (and partly sumo digital) not only managed to create an entire "create and share" community, but also teach thousands of children some advanced stuff like "what's the difference between OR and xOR or AND and xAND gates", without them realizing that such things **COULD** be applied in some real life field. Tutorials so rewarding **and** engaging they managed to teach my 11 years old dumb ass and get hooked to become addicted to master every single element of that create mode.
Media Molecule. A company which managed to brighten up my childhood and and the future after it.

This literally kickstarted my interest and passion for game development. I grew up making my own little levels and games in LBP. Modeling my own little characters, Making costumes, Learning the logic in the game. It was just never ending fun and really tickled my brain the right ways.
Now I'm older, I don't play games as much as I used to but I do alot of programming, 3D modeling, Music Composition and Graphic Design for video games now. All things I used to LOVE to do in LBP.
Using the music sequencer, Connecting logic and making my own microchips, Making stickers and decals. Sculpting my levels and props with the materials and I never would've thought it would lead into me doing it for real. Actually learning Game Development has made me realized how special LBP really was. Truly the most creative game I've ever experienced in life. :)

I kind of get emotional thinking back on all of the memories of watching RUclips vids on lbp and then to getting a copy of the 2nd game. I will forever love the series and hope that they’ll make a 4th one or something

I am so glad that there is another LBP retrospective video that doesn't have a knack for overusing the word "dead". While the franchise has basically been abandoned by Sony, its community is still there. It might be full of children who have only played LBP3 (like myself up until recently) they will still grow up and have some good memories just dicking around in the create mode, or playing community levels that range from excellent to that Mortal Kombat level you showed that had "I'm Sexy and I know it" playing in the background. Great Video!

I’m happy to see that there’s still people who still have love for this game because it deserves all of that. I tried to play Sackboy too and tbh it was so mehhh, I didn’t like it at all and I’d even rather to play LBP 3 than that. I miss the old days of LBP 1 and 2 but the only comfort I got is knowing that even if the community is not that active anymore, LBP will always be in our minds and memories, forever 🥺

I got the PSP with Little Big Planet in 2010 on christmas and this game had me going crazy for it. The soundtracks when jumping through the levels, the stickers you placed along the way, the bubbles you found in hidden places, the worlds you created for you and maybe your friends for you to enjoy together. All that encapsulated in a visually striking, beautifully narrated story of an unusal hero. LBP is such a gem.

I saw this video and cried. My introduction ( I’m a 2012 baby) to this game franchise was my dad giving me a controller he thought was turned off, then realising I was controlling his character while trying to eat the joysticks, then when I was about 5 THIS game was the first one I properly played and in 2020, Covid hits, me and my sister start playing this game together, getting through quarantine, no boredom, because of the 4 people that wanted to make an idea into a spark. A spark that would light up my life in the gaming world. Then my dad completed the last level with me of the first game and soon after got LBP Karting+ LBP 2 which me and my sister banded together to complete and we truly did. First few months of having them they were done. Now I’m on PS5 instead of PS3 (still own the PS3 dw) and one day saw LBP 3 on PS plus and knew I had to have it so instantly downloaded it and now it is completed. If any of you have read all of this, thanks .😁

My first Littlebig Planet game was the PSP version, and although it wasn't as 'great' as the original or 2, it's still such a core, comforting memory to me, and I adore the soundtrack. I remember asking my dad and sister to help me with levels, and how even my dad (who wasn't much into playing 'kiddie' games) would smile and laugh as he played. The Orb of Dreamers (and intro as well) is so dear to my heart, and someone who loves it as much as me makes my heart warm. Thank you for making such a heartfelt and humorous love letter to a wonderful game & community.

Some of my old friends never came back online, and I’ll never find them ever again, but it’s about the times we had on there! Sometimes I go back on it but it’ll never be the same after online servers were shut down. I actually played from 2013 to the very day the servers started messing up. To this day I maintain that if LBP (specifically LBP2) came out or was re-released on Steam it would blow-up since it would have wider access and keyboard and mouse controls would make level editing a lot easier. Sadly that will never happen.
