lbp was so good, especially when you were younger, it was amazing. I remember playing bora bora island and thinking it was some crazy adventure and I went back to it recently and it was really boring XD the imagination of being young is something I wish I could get back, it would be amazing.
I've been on a giant kick lately on wanting to play through these games again. The amount of joy it brought me as a kid was insane. I used to play all the different community levels, (including the "How to dress up as an emo boy" levels. I've made so many friends (Who sadly, I no longer talk to) because of this game alone. I really wish I could go back in time just to play these games when they were at their prime. It pains me to know that the servers were shut down for the original games, bc I would be pretty cool to just go back and play online on those games. I never really got into the 3rd one, and spent little time in the 2nd one. The very first one will always be my favorite no matter what. LittleBigPlanet will always hold a special place in my heart. Lbp1 was absolutely the best one. Although I love the logic lbp2 added, I loved the simplicity of lbp1 and the idea that you can make a lot of the logic from lbp2 in lbp1. The story was very easily my favorite.
If you wanna play the old servers again theres a thing called beacon. It's a project to implement custom servers in the PS3 versions of all 3 games and ps vita.
13:48 that guy on the left, I have his costume on lbp2 since I use to pod surf randoms and I joined him and we went to the moon and I used a sackbot to copy his costume, this is cool to see the person on RUclips randomly after 6 years, I have his costume in lbp2 and lbp3 ps3.
the first LBP level I made that I can remember was called "eye" because I set the eye sticker as the icon, and it was just the wedding template but severely messed with by me lmao
I remember playing split screen little big planet 1 and 2 with my sister playing bomb survival and forgotten by Disney creepy pasta games. looking back on them they were stupid but the kid version of me found them fun and I still have a nostalgic soft spot for them. the little big planet series (including karting) really shaped my childhood and I still have my old ps3 with all the memories. good sir, take my subscription as a token of my appreciation for this amazing nostalgia boost. lbp lives on in our hearts. its a shame the servers were attacked and shut down though.
This would be a fun thing to do actually. If I'd have online access still I could go to my old profile to see some of the levels I made in 2014-2016. That profile is just a time capsule that preserved all my childhood cringe

I liked to collect various controllable dinosaur and dragon models (despite me knowing how to program robots in this game, so I don't know why I didn't make the robots myself) and just make levels to destroy things with them. I'd fill the map with destructible objects and enemies and break them all.
I miss so much lbp... It made me brcome creative as a kid...they should do a pack for like ps5 or even pc that include Lbp 1,2,3 & karting whit a lbp 4...

you can transfer lbp data using an option called "import lbp 1 or 2 data"
it doesn't transfer saved costumes or moon levels though, but all published levels, objects, or prizes from levels still transfer.
