At the very end, the son admits he was paid extra in order to pay his father, but because the cheque was made out to just his name he decided to keep it all. So HE knowingly screwed his own father, what a low-life...
When the son said the Defendant gave him extra money in the check to split with his dad and the son kept it for himself. So he just admitted that the Defendant paid his father and the son choose not to give it to him.

I wonder if you’re allowed to even offer free coffee and donuts. I could see some folks argue that that’s a form of payments or bribery for votes. Also, he would need to have a lot of listeners specifically in his district. If most of his listeners are online or from the show being syndicated nationally, that seems unlikely. Ridiculous.. it’s obvious he answered his own lawsuit “ he gave me extra bucks for the workers but he should have gave the man a check” sounds like son is greedy asf and didn’t not do his own responsibility of passing down the money to whom he hired. In this particular state, such contracts to pay by signature are prohibited. Those signatures of yours are invalidated by the secretary of State's Office or county election board. That's why this one is a hourly rate.
It's probably for the better that the defendant didn't get enough signatures, the plaintiff seems pretty shady, and the Republican party is already full enough of pay-to-play candidates.
Gathering signatures for a political candidate is a PITA. I did it one summer. Most people ignore you, or sign when they should not. What happens is that each signature gets reviewed by your opponent who is looking for reasons to disqualify a signer.

Trying to get republican signatures in a democrat neighborhood is probably worth more than $35hr, considering the rage that the democrats have for anyone who disagrees with them.
