"I didn't beg him, he offered." 🙄 (Lolol.) This def is fully an adult, yet his understanding of money and others helping him is about that of a 16 year old.
Family gets hugely pissed at that, even. You are supposed to give until it bleeds. They made bad life choices, you are supposed to clean up after them. My sister is always furious that I am a rich b!tch. Turns out, we make the same money. I don’t drink, smoke or do drugs. I take my family on all expense paid vacations, drive a nice (not new) car, have a nice house. Because I worked my way up the property ladder, staying up late to scrape, paint, run plumbing, wallpaper, replacing electrical, while working full time all day, I am a snooty b!tch. She partied and I learned new skills and worked with my hands, sweating. So now, I should share my retirement funds with her?
@@BBMc107 I think that was the point of this dialogue...don't give more than you can expect to lose, when there is the condition to pay it back because they may not happen. It sounds like you have a lot of issues with your sister, but no one expects you to support her...everyone makes their own life decisions.
@@lisawentworth6831 Not everyone does. The whole family dynamic in the video was to blame baby brother. My point was that they continue to place blame, as if you are responsible for their problems because you do not have those problems. I learned long ago not to loan to relatives. I gift or not at all. While we were starting a new business, my bil needed money to pay back child support or he was going to jail. We were very cash poor at the time, but gave him several hundred $. He sniffed to his mom and sister about how badly off we were to “only” give him so little. If he was so well off, why come to us for money? He will never get another cent, no matter how bad he tries to make us look in front of the whole family. These narcissists try to make you look and feel bad. They make crappy life choices and then belittle you for making better choices as though they are special people above the rest of us. My husband and I have cocooned ourselves away from our bad family members and don’t get involved in their squabbles. They spread rumors, we go about our business. Thankfully, both hubby and myself love a life without high drama. Probably because we had too much of it in our childhoods.
Defendant seems like the type of person who always plays the victim and usually gets away with it. No one "lures" you into moving YOUR stuff. These people gave up their bed to you, let you stay in their 1 bedroom apartment for 7 months, moved all your belongings from TX. No good deed goes unpunished.
It's sad to see someone with such poor character [the defendant] allowing this to be broadcast to a television audience. It's kind of gross. And I don't buy he handed over all his checks either. How could he have found his own place? The plaintiff co-signed the checks on her bank account for him to cash them. That's what I think happened.
Perhaps he owes past child support..that's why he did not open his own checking account ..many men do that...and leave town like he did ..I'm not saying that is the case here ..but highly suspicious...
this is true, I sympathize, thats why I finally understand as an adult, "give only, if you truly expect nothing back" which is why its easy to give kids gifts, you never expect anything from them and are never dissapointed.
I know I am in the minority here, but I would have no problem suing any member of my family if they fu*ked me over. When I make a LOAN to anyone I expect to be paid back. I am not responsible for taking care of grown adults because they make bad financial decisions. If drinking, smoking, gambling, online por*, doing drugs, partying and doing other frivolous things is more important than having a roof over your head, then so be it. You make those decisions, then suffer the consequences. 🤷🏾♀️
I'm with ya, like you said, grown ass adults having the mind set that just because it's family it's okay to make these bad decisions, but that's how you burn bridges, wish more.peiple thought this way!
You are not in the minority with me, though I would have a caveat. There are some members of my family I would be hard pressed to sue, others that I would not lend money to in the first place, I am sad to say, because it would be the same as me flushing it!
I'm all for people suing anyone for what they are due. I could do it depending on the circumstances. I loaned my daughter money for a vet bill, nothing more heartbreaking to hear my daughter calling crying that her kitten was dying, so I gave her the money.. Poor kitten didn't make it. She paid me 200 of the almost 600, then I just told her don't worry about the rest. But anyone else, I would sue them.
I don't think ur wrong for that, I don't understand how family would dare feel salty when they did u wrong or u wouldn't b able to sue. Blood means nothing if u don't act loyal to me

She's the only one I have that loyalty to in my family ...she's the only one who deserves it for so many more reasons then a vet bill, mothers love is unmatched
I completely sympathize with the plaintiff cause the defendant reminds me of my deadbeat brother. I've helped him by lending him large sums of money and he calls me delusional saying that never happened, even though I have text messages from him proving it. The best thing you can do is ignore their pleas for help and let them suffer the consequences of their own actions. There's a reason why no one else wants to help them.
How would he pay for his daily needs? If they took his pay every week, how did he pay to get back and forth from work? What about T.P.? Deodorant? Everything else? Sounds like a lie
I believe he gave them some of his paycheck, which people normally do when living in others home's. I just don't believe they would leave him with nothing.
The dead beat brother said he had airline points and would fly them back.. it there wasn’t some items to be moved, why didn’t dead beat just fly himself?
Yes! Then he lies...the ingrate...and complains about their dogs..!! There's a lot to look after in a home, and on top of that if there's someone who lies around & messes the house...& is ungrateful...its hard to take. Kindness should not be abused. I've had selfish neighbors take awful advantage of me...because I'd been empathetic.
The eldest sister is still being bamboozled by the defendant. Her rose colored glasses won't come off until he ungratefully leeches off her. If the defendant really wasn't asking to bring his belongings, the plaintiffs could have sent him a train ticket and saved themselves the 4 day round trip and expenses from the moving truck. The plaintiff probably was a loud, frustrating woman but they helped him when no one else did and tried their best to accommodate him, even allowing him to sleep in their bed. This is sad. Sounds like the defendant has a track record for being somewhat of a deadbeat. Hopefully he grows up, everyone involved accepts their accountability in this mess, and they reconcile the family.
The Defendant is definitely a moocher, took his brother and his wife for granted, thought that he didn't have to pay for anything. I'll help my siblings out, but if it involves me driving to and fro, they'll pay my gas!

Long Unpopular opinion here - I feel bad for the "Defendant"...truly think he has and is at risk of another "breakdown" ....he's so emotionaless. Hes been through a lot...he said he went through bankruptcy and was just going to leave it all...he didnt care....and I think when he called his brother...his brother (like most brothers do) was like I'll help you...I got you. His brother recognized the depression. His brother's girlfriend sued him not his brother. Sometimes people end up in a bad way....especially in the past yrs due to Covid. I wouldn't necessarily label him a moocher. And the sister was sitting on his side
What an entitled piece of crap! One should never accept money without the intention of paying it back regardless if that was communicated or not. Just expect to pay back what you take.
He is lying. He first said he was going to leave all of his stuff, then he said he was going to fly his brother down and rent a truck. Contradictory stories.
As someone who worked 12hr nights for over a year, and had roommates with pets during this time, let me tell ya, it SUCKS! While you don't want others to stop living because you work nights, you also just want some sleep after 12 hrs of being up. I remember being so moody and irritated at the slightest noise that kept me up and hated everyone. 😂 I'm never having roommates, ever again!
My sister once asked to borrow money from our dad. My dad said "No, I'll give you the money" I asked him why. "A loan means she'll pay it back and I don't want any hard feelings when she doesn't"
That’s last part where the bailiff was waiting for the second couple to come out as soon as she said they were getting married he started laughing had me cracking up lol
I've never loaned money that I couldn't afford to loose, it's the principal of paying it back...if they can live with it, I can live without it. It speaks volumes of the person
It's not always about money. It's also about respect, trust, personal responsibility, consideration... No way was the brother coerced into moving! And who can blame the sister-in-law for struggling with long-term company in a small space. She was very generous to let him stay, and if he didn't like her, or the accommodation, he should have left. It was plain that they are not affluent, and the moving brother had to have known that 'helping him out' was the loan for the expenses, physical assistance with the move, finding him a job, and giving him a temporary place to stay. Of course the money should be repaid!
FYI Harvey, the lawsuit didn't ruin the relationship, the brother being an inconsiderate moocher who doesn't care enough about what his brother did for him to even repay the debt. The fact that the defendant said, that the plaintiff said "everybody has to make an adjustments, but I'm the only one who made any adjustments," says everything I need to know about him! They took a third person into their tiny, one-bedroom apartment, gave up their bedroom & bed, drove all the way to pick him up, rented a big truck, and fronted all the money to move him down and stored his stuff (and the fact that his sister believes that they basically put a gun to his head to force him to do all this, is crazy), when the only reason he had to move down was because he wanted a change and this inconsiderate jerk has the gall to say that he's the only one who made adjustments??? Wow, just WOW!!!!

I’m guessing the defendant brother smooched of his brother first and did not want to let the sister know because he will soon smooch off of her next with the same sob story.
Defendant is such a deadbeat. That sister is in for a shock
"I didn't beg him, he offered."
🙄 (Lolol.)
This def is fully an adult, yet his understanding of money and others helping him is about that of a 16 year old.
Less than a 16 year old
Its best to never expect family to pay you back , so don't give more than you can afford to lose.
That applies even pp outside ya family
that's a good rule...
And his sister just believes his every word
The defendant is a perfect example of. "No Good Deed, Goes Unpunished". That's why I don't do nothing, for nobody.
this is true, I sympathize, thats why I finally understand as an adult, "give only, if you truly expect nothing back" which is why its easy to give kids gifts, you never expect anything from them and are never dissapointed.
Lol nothing at all for nobody damn 😂🤣
There's times you expect to be paid back and times you know it's not going to happen or if to do so would cause undue hardship.
Or Anything for Anybody! 😅
I love this judge she is tough no nonsense and at the same time compassionate
Thanks for download.
The family stories are sad because it's family
involved.
Thumbs up.
Blood means nothing if u don't act loyal to me
@@ButtonsCasey my mom helped me w a vet bill for my baby that didn't make it and she never asked me to repay her, that meant the world to me that cat was everything to me. My mom has always showed unconditional love and she will die on my couch I will take care of her the Same way when she needs it. She's the only one I have that loyalty to in my family ...she's the only one who deserves it for so many more reasons then a vet bill, mothers love is unmatched
My parents always told us, if you lend family money be sure you have it to give and never expect it back. You're family.
He is a deadbeat. Pay your bills. He called his brother for help, and he came. He was not lured to come to NY. He had no choice, he was destitute.
I feel like he’ll get his older sister to pay his bill
Or the People's Court. LOL
The program pays the judgment.
why he didn't stay with her in the first place?
How would he pay for his daily needs? If they took his pay every week, how did he pay to get back and forth from work? What about T.P.? Deodorant? Everything else? Sounds like a lie
I believe he gave them some of his paycheck, which people normally do when living in others home's. I just don't believe they would leave him with nothing.
😒 HE'S VERY GOOD AT LYING!
HE ALSO EXPECTED THEM TO PAY FOR HIS MOVE & TAKE CARE OF HIM. GUY HAS NO SHAME 😑
Brother/Defendant is a sorry excuse for a brother - so ungrateful for all they did to help him!
👍🏿
The dead beat brother said he had airline points and would fly them back.. it there wasn’t some items to be moved, why didn’t dead beat just fly himself?
Yes! Then he lies...the ingrate...and complains about their dogs..!! There's a lot to look after in a home, and on top of that if there's someone who lies around & messes the house...& is ungrateful...its hard to take. Kindness should not be abused. I've had selfish neighbors take awful advantage of me...because I'd been empathetic.
@@sudhakhristmukti1930 same. But don’t stop being you because of someone else. Stay true to you.
That's highly unlikely to happen.
Give some people an inch and they expect a yard!
The Defendant is definitely a moocher, took his brother and his wife for granted, thought that he didn't have to pay for anything. I'll help my siblings out, but if it involves me driving to and fro, they'll pay my gas!
It was so hard to watch because the defendant smacked his lips every single time he spoke!😡
it triggers my misophonia so bad. aaaaaand it looked like his mouth was barely moving, so i just didn’t get it!!
I had to check and yes he does and it is horribly annoying
@@jasmineelise424 I have misophonia too and I had to put subtitles on and mute him!! He wound me up so much with his bad attitude plus the way he smacked his lips
I was looking for this comment. I have misophonia as well and particularly on this show it seems the microphones tend to pick up every little lip smack and mouth noise. It drives me crazy!
The way the announcer says he's a Moocher
The ONLY court tv i watch. Milian is probably the Most intelligent/impartial judge i have ever come across! Wish all judges were like her!
Never lend money to anyone unless you do not expect to get it back, specially not family cause you will never get it back and it's not worth the troubles that come with it.
Siblings always think they don't have to pay you back because they're "family." 🤦🏽♀️😂
All I can say is ungrateful. This is why I moved from my family. If they call I have no obligation to answer. When I lived near family I couldn’t do that.
The brother is just a moocher who is taking advantage of his siblings.
He is a disgusting moocher, taking advantage of his good bother and sister in law.
The judge asks why they paid for the storage unit...well...I know for my sister it would because that's my flipping sister.
I believe that woman cusses that man out and bosses him around 🤔 how did she pull him 😂
Wondering the same. Looks like a lesbian.
I think the title of this case nailed it!
6:53 Some Lady on The Right Diggin for Gold.. Lmmfao on National TV That's Just Not a Good Idea..
Eww I seen that.
@@marisolmartinez8390 Yup she was all up in that nose. i mean really on National Tv ? Can't wait till you get home ?
This is exactly why you don't let family or so called friends move in. If they're homeless let them go to a shelter it never ends good there's alot of ungrateful people that want to live off people. The judge really needs to stop trying to get families together not everyone can do it some families are very toxic and need to stay away from each other. The judge needs to get to the point of the case and worry about her own
😳
Yeah agreed we learned the hard way too we had a so called friend that had to leave her house cause she was under investigation with cos cause she threatened and draw a picture of her house burning with her kids in it when we took her in for one night we couldn't get her to leave and she never helped us out with anything at all she ate all our food I was pregnant and hight risk and she was stressing me out so one day my mom came over and took all of her stuff and throw it outside and told her to leave she did but she threatened us saying she will come back bust our our window call cps on us that didn't work cause we called the cops on her we will never ever help any friends out again we cut ties with her
@@krististoudt8649 💜 I'M SORRY THAT HAPPENED TO YOU. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU WERE PREGNANT 😟 IT'S SAD THAT SOMEONE LIKE THAT RUINED HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT HELPING SOMEONE ELSE. BUT THAT'S ALL IT TAKES, I KNOW. PEOPLE LIKE HER ARE DANGEROUS TO ALLOW INTO YOUR HOME. I'M GLAD THAT YOUR MOM CAME TO HELP YOU REMOVE HER. BEST WISHES WITH YOUR BABY, PLEASE BE SAFE, STAY BLESSED 😊🙏✝️💜💜💜
Geez. What a horrible bunch of people you all must surround yourselves with! Character matters. Integrity matters. Don't swim in the gutter and you won't get caught up in the current that's heading for the sewer.
People should not be encouraged to put up with an abusive relationship. It's impossible to have rational discussions with an abuser. Whatever agreement you come to will just be broken by the abuser. The judge needs to stop with that stupid advice. She's NOT a professional counsellor. But this is a tv show so the judge may just be trying to look like a caring person to her viewing audience.
I'm so early. Good afternoon everyone.
Hey sis!
Good afternoon!
Helloo! 💜✌
Good morning here in Australia. Happy Saturday
Hey love. Good afternoon
"She gets mad a lot, sometimes"...😄 hilarious
This is why the sister didn’t help him…he probably burned her too! The defendant really needs to get it together!! Sad
I have watched this show on tv for years, and just discovered the youtube videos. I'm hooked!
Having a brother like the defendant must be tiresome. What a privileged piece of work.
I agree to a point. But I also believe the plaintiffs wife is always part of the issue…as well as miscommunication between the two brothers regarding the inheritance from their mother
I salute Judge Judy with utmost respect. She is direct and does not tolerate any type of nonsense. We would be better off with more judges like Judge Judy. Joyce in Atlanta, Ga
Love watching these on my breaks/lunches
The brother in financial distress did him dirty. Real dirty. He is also a liar. He said he paid 7 weeks worth of paychecks and it turned out to be only two paychecks. Real dirty. I'd never speak to him again.
But the sister who was financially doing ok. He didn't want to bother asking her to help him out. That brother would be dead to me after this. I bet he did keep most of the money he got for the house as well from his brother. I'd never speak to him again.
Hes a loser. Admit it.
Crazy I can't work without finding the right video to listen to
Currently watching on my lunch break 😂
the magnifying glass LOL I'M DEAD
The defendant is such a manipulative individual
What an entitled piece of crap! One should never accept money without the intention of paying it back regardless if that was communicated or not. Just expect to pay back what you take.
The defendants moist lip smacking made this awful to watch tbh
He is lying. He first said he was going to leave all of his stuff, then he said he was going to fly his brother down and rent a truck. Contradictory stories.
As someone who worked 12hr nights for over a year, and had roommates with pets during this time, let me tell ya, it SUCKS! While you don't want others to stop living because you work nights, you also just want some sleep after 12 hrs of being up. I remember being so moody and irritated at the slightest noise that kept me up and hated everyone. 😂 I'm never having roommates, ever again!
Love Judge Miriam. Not only beautiful but a great judge. She is fair and an approachable lady
no ones gonna talk about how the lady was digging for gold in the audience😂 6:40
My sister once asked to borrow money from our dad. My dad said "No, I'll give you the money" I asked him why. "A loan means she'll pay it back and I don't want any hard feelings when she doesn't"
Could tell she knew the defendant was handing her a load of crock and she wanted to see how far he’d go.
A shameless ungrateful brother distorting facts to get off his obligations.
Happy Friday Everyone🍹🍻
Cheers, Sunday!!!...🥂👉👁👁👈
Happy Friday To You As Well ☺️
*Cheers folks!*
Woo hoo!
Happy weekend eve! 💜✌🤗
That’s last part where the bailiff was waiting for the second couple to come out as soon as she said they were getting married he started laughing had me cracking up lol
What a disgusting person. No shame at all for being someone who uses people.
Absolute truth beautiful woman 🌞😁
The defendant is an ungrateful freeloader. All the excuses in the book to not pay back the people who helped him out
It’s so sad that families are destroyed over money. What is more important then family.
money
I can answer that.. Money is more important.
Love The People’s Court. Judge Marilyn is the best.
What good people the plaintiff
I've never loaned money that I couldn't afford to loose, it's the principal of paying it back...if they can live with it, I can live without it. It speaks volumes of the person
These people put the "A" in dysfunctional family. 👪
Watch all the time. Can't find on my cable TV channels 😒 . I Watch on RUclips
This guy is a mooch and now he involved one of the sisters with his lies.
😒 SHAME ON HER FOR BELIEVING HIM TOO! WHAT A SCHMUCK! THEY WERE GOOD ENOUGH TO HELP HIM, BUT THE LOW LIFE THOUGHT HE COULD USE THEM. SUCH A CREEP! 😑
Why do you need to move so far when you have money problems? He had a job…he must have done something to someone…
Don't lend money out that you won't mind never seeing again, no matter who it is
Smack👄smack👄 smack👄smack👄smack
Being penniless does not mean you are entitled to your brothers money. Get a job
6:45 lady seriously sitting on tv picking her nose
🤣🤣🤣Up to the third knuckle, hahaha
The defendant kinda looks like a older Drew Carry
“She gets mad a lot, sometimes. That’s going on my tombstone.” Got a big laugh.
when an elderly woman walks in with silly hair, i can"t believe anything she says.
what I don't understand is why not get healthy and spend money for your health vs flamboyant hair🤣
I know what you mean bc of that hair and if she wasn’t married to that man I would think she was a lesbian but either way it’s very very immature for a woman of her age. JS
I like the way her glasses match her hair.
I hate selfish people
Not just a mooch, also a lier!
