Great review! I just picked one up this past weekend and played my first round with it. I was pleasantly surprised on how well it performed. I had been considering it for a while now and after trying other brands, I decided to go with the KS1. Kirkland sells quality products in my opinion, most of their stuff seemed to rebranded high-end brands. I also ordered the weight kit. Most reviews I've seen, prefer the 15g and 20g weights vs the 10g that come with it. I'd love for you to make a follow up video with the weights and get your take on them. Thanks, cheers 🍻 !
Bought this putter and also got the weight kit. For me, the 15 gram weights rather than the stock 10 or heaviest 20 gram combo felt just right. Really nice now for the $. Should be a great investment opportunity as this will probably be a collector’s item.Thanks.
I just picked this up a week ago. After gaming the same ultra soft faced Wilson putter for like 8 years I had a bit of an issue with a few puts missing long. This is a way hotter face. But I feel like once I am used to it I'm going to really like it.
Test this putter with the weight set and it goes from a good putter to a "great" putter and will compete with any putter out there. The weight set should be a default part of the putter selling package.
Just a thought, I wonder if the putter you ended on would always do better simply because you have hit the same shot so many times. Maybe mix up the order of the putter for more consistent and reliable testing.

Good review again Gabe. My Rossa Monza is not performing at the moment. I know it is me, not the club but if the Kirkland was available here, for that price I would give it a try.
The weight adjustability is a very nice feature on the Costco Putter. Depending on the course you might want to add or take weight out of the putter. I made the mistake a week ago of taking the Kirkland to Torrey Pines and not changing the weight on it. The greens at Torrey Pines were wicked fast and I had the heavier weights on it for the courses I normally play. If you like a heavier putter or the ability to adjust the weight the Costco is a good reasonably priced putter.
@@LetsPlayThru Fair. I'm an 10-12 handicapper so I wasn't expecting a superior round but the greens really caught me off guard. They were shockingly fast. Too fast to be honest. Saks not a face balanced, it is a "Toe hang" is a quality of toe-balanced putters. The clubface of a toe-balanced putter will, when the shaft of the putter is balanced lengthwise across a golfer's finger, be angled toward the ground. In other words, the toe of such a putter will hang down, pointing toward the ground. When a putter is face balanced, it will point straight up in the air when the club is balancing at the balance point. You can test if your putter is face balanced by holding the club with your finger at its balance point when it is parallel to the ground and seeing if the face of the club points up in the air.

Better than a Scotty? A Costco putter? Come on folks, let’s get real. Is the Costco putter good? Possibly, but don’t kid yourselves thinking it’s better than a Scotty. Psh, unreal!
Yeah, Scotty's have gold dust in them and they're made by fairies...so of course they're better especially since they set you back $400 or more off the shelf. LOL. I mean, Scotty's ARE going to have more technology and research, so I suppose there's something to be said about that, but it's a putter. To me, putting is about 90% between the ears and maybe 5 or 10 percent about the putter you're using. Length, feel and looks are the most important aspects of the putter to me, which leads to confidence level. Probably 5% or less of putting success is about the technology in the putter IMHO. To some people, spending $500 on a putter alone is what gives them confidence...the price and name on the putter mean absolutely nothing to me...0%. That said I wouldn't make the same argument about drivers and fairways where there's significant performance differences between...say...the SIM2s and the el cheapo's. Irons fall someplace in between IMHO...all the manufacturers claim their latest design iron is the best ever, which is mostly marketing bullsh**, though now and then someone comes up with something worthwhile in iron technology.
Lmfao, if you actually think a standard milled Cameron putter is any better than any other putter made by the same machinery and same material bearing a different name I honestly feel bad for you. Obviously if you go to Cameron's studio and have one fitted to you, then yes, this product won't be equal. 🤣
I got a Super Select Squareback for Christmas. A really great feeling putter for sure for me. And it feels amazing and does everything well, in close to lags and longer putts. I also have a KS1 that I’ve had for several years and it’s been a good putter, especially for the price. But after I got the Scotty, I was wondering if I could make the KS1 feel and perform comparable to the Scotty. I cut it down to about 33 1/2”, replaced the original grip with a Flatso 2.0, had the lie adjusted to fit me (also had lie adjusted on the Scotty). And it felt so good but it was too light swing weight. KS1 was D0 and Scotty was E1. Added lead tape, balanced on toe and heel, still light. Added #8 lead shot inside the 10 gram toe and heel weights (they’re hollow) and the results are amazing. I actually like it better than the Scotty. It’s more consistent for me. Frankenstein Putter? Maybe a bit 😂, but the end result is amazing. Good as the Scotty? Maybe, maybe not. Putts as well or even better…for me. Getting rid of the Scotty? No Making some adjustments to the Scotty? Probably Point is, don’t sell it short just because of the name on the putter. None are magic out of the box unless you get very lucky.

Brand name does not automatically mean better. There's hundreds of KS1 reviews on the internet and they all say it's a great putter
One thing that is not in question.... more putts have been missed using a Scotty today than have ever been missed with Kirkland EVER 🤔
Probably
Point is, don’t sell it short just because of the name on the putter. None are magic out of the box unless you get very lucky.
Junk it looks nothing like a SC
It looks so much like a Scotty Cameron that I would not be surprised if it’s made by Titleist
