Exact bike I rode to college in 1979 -1981, always regretted selling it. Enjoyed watching, thanks.
I regret selling it as well. :/
Exactly what I have been hoping ffg or! More ride alongs please!
a very joyful ride
Great Video, I also have a CB175, I have a 69. Looks like we live in the same area. Our 175s should meet up some time.

A video of me on my CB175 on Mulholland Drive. These bikes are so much fun.
@@MrVintagebikeguy Can’t believe I just saw this comment. I’ve seen your video before. Your bike is sweet. We should def meet up!
nice bike
Thanks. I miss it!
This is some crazy small work type stuff!! I found a CB175 in my apartment building’s garage collecting dust and decided to watch some videos on the bike. Turns out your video was shot just a block away from me in Burbank! Do you still own/ride it. Would you recommend it for a first time rider who intends to just zip around town?
How am I just now seeing this comment… do you still have it? I sold the Honda and ride a Guzzi now.
Nice sunny ride! 👍 What town is this? (I'm an English man) 👋
Are the Honda gloves required to ride a vintage Honda?
I don’t want to offend Honda, so I’m gonna say yes.
wait is the patreon to watch you take more rides to the post office bc i would pay for that
What exhaust
Hi, how’s the power on this bike? I just got one to restore but I’m about 240lbs and worried it’ll be a little weak for me, awesome bike tho!
It’s a 175, so it’s slow as hell. I only use it to ride around town.
@@TVGuapoArcade I had a 71. Any headwind was a killer!
@@ltcajh Haha! Yep! A strong fart can blow you off this thing.
@@TVGuapoArcade I rode it as a skinny teenager down the interstate. I had to keep my head down. The small gear on the wheel didn't give the torque needed. I did love it though. I think the Hooker header started my decent to hearing loss.
To answer a few questions about these bikes.......
They are a great learner bike. Small light and the power isn't intimidating.
You need to be mechanically inclined or maintance costs will eat you alive. That's if you can find someone to work on a 50+ year old bike.
A good runner in good tune can go 75 mph with an under 200lb rider. It can cruise all day at 55-60 mph.
It really isn't a freeway bike. Highway with little traffic and 60 mph it's marginal.
Provided the suspension isn't worn it can handle 265lbs+. It the smallest bike you can practically ride two adults on.
These bikes can easily get 70 mpg At a steady 35-40 mph you can approach 100 mpg. Depends how you ride it.
A really nice example "they were made 1968-1973" can be had for $1800-$2200. Parts are generally available.
Those stupid noisy exhaust pipes spoil the bike. Get rid of them and fit OEMs.
My 68 cb175 used to purrr....>I did not interfere with the silencers.
Bike sounded fantastic. I had a crappy knock off go-pro. And I sold it years ago, so go yell at the new owner. :)
Aik ghantay sai aik hi pose dikhata ja raha hai bike ka
